Stressfull? Strange. I mean, people who don't have anything to reproach to themselves shouldn't fear this. And even if you got banned accidentally (say, if you have AOL), this could be solved with the mods.
Of course I add new rules, imagine what would happen without them...
You can't do anything you want in real life, you know. That's the same thing.

I agree 100% Some artists already left BS or Fanart section and everyone was surprised, because they didn't say anything. That's what people who really want to leave, do. They don't care about "Oh please, stay, we love your art", if they need to leave, they do it, and there is no wars by the way.

And yes, it is extremely annoying. They just probably want attention.

They only want to post that and come back to see what people wrote to them: about them leaving, so no, they weren't really leaving.

Maybe they were very furious so they don't care 'bout anything

My suggestion is that even though it might seem useless, a rule against it would help. If the didnt work, the mods should just ban those people because Im tiredof their crap. And the whole war thing is completely right, I agree with all of you.

I know, people just make them to get attention, really people who don't even know you don't care if you leave acctually they won't even notice. If you have friends here them PM them there is no need for this drama queen topics. whener somebody says "I'm leaving" it's a load of bull without a second thought I think Gosh somebody lock that thing.

Geez you people are so harsh, yeah okay if the person has posted like five times and they say I am leaving goodbye, but I bet all of you would wandered what had happened to Kari, unless she had posted a topic, so if she had not you would have been worried, well her friends would have as well, and she is a moderator as well, if they give reasons and a loyal member they have every right too, so stop being so harsh on people just because you find it annoying, don't like it, don't click on the topic, nobody controls your fingers.

I pretty much totaly disagree with you Roxas. If people want to tell others they are leaving, they can PM someone, not make a totaly useless topic about it. That's the wonders of PMs. [sarcasim] You can send them to people and not waste space. WHO KNEW. [/sarcasim]

People have a right, you really do not have to click on the topic, so whya re you complaining, some people leaving and do not want to pm fifty different people. And whats with the tiny font on bad mouthing me, do it properly if your going too.

I agree, and I noticed a couple of people who posted they were leaving, and posted on another username saying; "Oh, I'll miss you!"

They know that no one will miss them. Really, they really need to learn. I know people will be all sad if like cat, or someone like that, leaves - But I BET they'll move on with their lifes on Balto source, and act like nothing ever happened.

I don't see the point of a "I am leaving, boohoo!" topic. Because, no one cares, unless it's a very known person or mod. But I am sure they will move on with their lifes, and as I said, acted like nothing ever happened.

I left Balto source for like, awhile, but never posted; "Will be back soon" Or "Leaving" Topic. I know that no one would care. XD Even if they did, then for how long? A day or two? Really, no one cares. What's the point?

I agree, it's really annoying. It's just a waste of space, and it's just annoying. No, we DONT have to click on that topic, but we'll still see it there. It's a waste of space, annoying, and just pointless, period.

Yeah, well... some people just do it for attention, maybe they don't recieve any with people in their lives. However, I am aware that there are those out there who are just doing it because... Also: Maybe some people post, because they know they will be missed... maybe they knew a bunch of people here, and maybe they want a few last words given out, instead of just vanishing.

I don't find them annoying: It's apropriate to know who we're losing and not, even if we never knew them/were familiar with them, at least we can give them our good fortune.

I'm not sure if I agree or disagree.

Sure, some people just want to be told "No! We love you! Stay!!" for attention purposes, but there are a select few that really are leaving and just don't want people to worry about them. I've seen both instances.

I've also seen some topics where people say they're leaving, and other people say "Who cares?". I find this rude somewhat...a person decides to simply state that they are leaving the forum, and it just makes them feel worse to know that no one cares. I bet that makes them feel loved.

Of course, topics that say "THIS SITE SUCKS!!!!! I HATE YOU ALL!!! I'M LEAVING!!!" need to be locked immediately. THOSE people just want attention.
