I wish that the lazy government would come up with a cure.

KurtmanJP wrote: Hey, I was wondering if anyone else here has Asperger's Syndrome. It's a form of high-functioning autism. For those who don't know what it is: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Asperger_syndromeI have Asperger's Syndrome. A very weak one, however. It's rather annoying, and in reality, I'm not really all this out-going and eloquent as on a forums, MSN or w/e. It also makes me pretty much useless in some things, while it strengthens my other abilities. Then there is this problem that I can't stand human contact. Not even for three seconds, before I move away. -.-' None of you want to possess it... Trust me.

Some people have it a lot worse than you do. yupik, you should start to be a little more sensitive, you dont know what that person has gone through. no i dont have it, but i have a form of extremly small seizures called pedimaul(im not sure how to spell it) seizures, which runs in my family. all that happens is your eyes roll back for about five seconds and your not responsive or anything, im on meds for it though. other than that, im gifted, my IQ is about 124(at 10 yrs old, im 13 now), and i take high school credits right now, being in eighth grade.

Thank's KurtmanJP-very interesting, since reading the link I have just realized i have it, my mum has always thought I am skightlu autistic-she's right. mainly I have: Quote: Difficulties in social communication and interaction, and in intense but narrow interests. Asperger's have normal or even superior intelligence. Although not mentioned in standard diagnostic criteria, odd speech, language peculiarities and abnormal clumsiness are frequently reported features of AS. I get on better with adults than my peers, I dislike most of the things an average female 22 year old likes-makeup, fashion, dating etc. I am a 'lone wolf' and need lots of time to myself. I am intelligent (I'm not meaning to boast) but I have trouble expressingmuself and using my intelligence-its stuck in my brain! Sheba

I think your quote is right as well; I've taken some intelligence tests, and I've scored around 133. And, indeed, my intelligence comes of little use, as I cannot conjure it and/or control it =/ (hope I'm not sounding like an arrogant person). Also, I am a lone-wolf as well, and I know I have Asperger's Syndrome. I got diagnostied (right word?) when I was about eleven years old. Now I'm 15, and I get better along with adults as well, and I have narrow interests; Computer, animals ('specially wolves), Balto, languages and science. (and I hate physical activity)
