I would love to go see to go see the real hero in Ohio. I just would have to wait til I get a car or my family has a reason to drive there. I have already seen the statue in New York. I would love to go back up to NY to see the statue as well. I didn`t really get a good look at it,since little kids and all where hugging it and a bunch of stuff. But it was good to see the hero have fans.

I said I wouldn't but, only because I don't want to see him stuffed. I just won't think about him the same way if I see him stuffed and put up on display like a trophie...

I do not believe that was the intent when the zoo decided to stuff and mount Balto...I am quite certain it was done out of love and respect. And I am sure they wanted to preserve some part of him for posterity.
