I love my style. As much improvement as it may need, I feel confident because it is in fact original to me- no one else has it. This isn't because I don't think my style is Balto-ish or TLK-ish, but it is a collaboration of the styles I've seen and been inspired bu throughout my life. I'm constantly drawing in "new styles"(and I quote this because I don't think you drawing another style is really possible. You can only stretch your style to try to match it line by line, but no matter how hard you try, no matter how similar the two look, it IS you're own style).

My two cents.

My style can be quite varied but on the whole I like it, but it doesn't hurt to want to try an new one every so often

You shouldn't take it that way... just because you're not as good as you'd like right now, does not mean you can't improve. All you have to do is find the time to work out what you want... I'm still playing with different ideas!

For the poll: I said sometimes. I actually have different "styles" for all of my characters. The oldest canine characters are all drawn in a very "Balto-ish" style... I don't have any uploaded here in my gallery, but looking through them at home, they're axactly alike. You wouldn't believe it by looking in my gallery, but my art here off the computer, older art, is very reminiscent of Balto.

For my more recent ones, I've modified the head shape, they're a bit more round and smooth, though the bodies are mostly the same... I haven't dared change anything anatomy wise since!

So... it all depends. Mostly, I wish I was better at coloring. I'm trying a few different techniques right now, and so far, haven't finnished the first.

I agree, ArcticWolf91, you shouldn't think like that as Kodiwolf said. That's true that some people might draw better than you, but did you think how long do they do it? How many years they were practising to get to that point? Yes, I does take time to learn how to draw, but you need to be patient. There is a saying: "Practicing makes out the master" and that is true. The more you practice and try, the better your drawings will be.

Practice is perfect, if everyone's style was the same the world would be boring. I've seen your art and I see absolutly nothing wrong with it. Practice, practice, practice, until you hand hurts. Within a bit of time I garentee you will begin to see results.

Very true!! :D It took me 2 years before I could draw anything besides how my "Default" art was. Took me forever to be able to draw Balto characters...

I actually have a few different styles, depending on which character I am drawing... scary!

I hate my style. Sometimes I look at my pictures and want to pull my hair out. XD lol. But I still draw and try to get better, so maybe someday I wont be bald. lol

I like my style, though the eyes and legs I have a lot of trouble with. But I also have different drawing styles for different animals. I'm actually better at mixing realism and cartoon than having just one style. :D
