I wonder where she got Raven. I have always wanted a puppy. But that puppy is soooo cute. It'd hard to stop talking about her.

Yes, I thought they were a herding/working breed as well. The Australian Shepherd dog won Crufts this year. ^-^

Yes, he did! And he was the same color as Milo, my Aussie...blue merle. Really good showing for Aussies! (And I really can't stomach the show/conformation world in most cases)

Me neither. Most show handlers are stuck up.. they don't really care about the dog's personality.

I can agree. All they care about is the money they get from their job. I hate people like that.

Well, if you're interested in an Australian Shepherd (and not a mini or toy Aussie which, again, are designer breeds, and not really true Aussies anyway, genetically), I can point you to Aussie Rescues as well as many truly good and reputable breeders.

They're AMAZING dogs! As smart as border collies, but a bit more flexible and less "intense". But still very high-energy.

Thanks, but we aren't aloud to have dogs at our apartment. Thank you. I love Australian Shepards. What Australian Shepard rescues do you have in mind?

Hmm...I'd have to get back to you on that. I didn't think you'd respond that quick. But I can give you links later if you're curious...

That's a really cute puppy. I remember when I got my dog Shadow at 7 weeks old he was really and now he is 2 1/2 years old.

Now, that is one heck of a cute pup! I suppose you'll be needing dog food? I suggest anything Black Gold! Black Gold Dog Food is what raised one of my dogs, Houdini into the 3/4 of a year old pup he is! But I wouldn't feed an idle dog Black Gold, it makes dogs hyper!

Oh, THAT'S why Jimmy is acting like he's on a sugar high...we switched his food to Black Gold. Ususally he's lazy and loving it but now he's like a crazed spider monkey.

Odd enough, it did nothing to my Shepard, who is twice as lazy.

Or my husky or retriver...hmmm...

Panic_Wolf, I guess your shepherd is just so lazy not even Black Gold can give her energy.
JennaHuskie, if you want Raven to be hyper, feed her Black Gold, if you want her to be calm, I suggest hunt up a brand that doesn't have as much protein as Black Gold.

She is very smart but stubborn
She eats everything in sight
