Yeah. I go to a Catholic high school, and I'm the closest thing you'll find to an emo. I wear black shirts (uniform) and black jeans. We can't have chains, but they're on my jeans. I wear tight black pants and carry around a black bag. I listen to emo music, like Panic! At The Disco and wear heavy eyeliner. Heck, even my boyfriend is emo.

why would you intentionally cut your wrist? I like to wear black shirts and jeans, all the time, but i dont wear makeup, i listen to country music, but i dont do stuff like smoking, drinking, drugs, or anything like that. i dont cut myself. i dont see any point in it, so just tell me, why do you do it?

I don't cut. I also listen to country. Doesn't mean I follow the examples. I dress like an emo but I don't cut.

As for the wrist cutting...I don't really feel like talking about it....

uh, but the guy I like is emo too... we like each other as a matter of fact. He just doesn't want a gf right now b/c all of his relationships don't work out and he doesn't want to get hurt anymore than he already is I guess. We still fool around, tho :P

hehehe...oh, and I would also like to say that not all emo kids are depressed all the time. As for me, I hve been A LOT lately....just things going on with my parents and how they are treating me lately....UHHH!
Annoying really...

Ok.. I guess the American Emo is slightly different to the British.. since I know a lot of emos here and none of them want to slit their wrists and aren't depressed...

Oh dear another poor soul fallen to the category 'Emo' the lowest of the low, yes I said it, you may all hate me, but really what is the point of hating your life and slitting your wrists? If your misreable kill yourself and stop seeking attention, go live in a third world country, they know true misery, and Jenna, it does not even sound like your Emo, listening to punk music does not make you emo...

They do pretty much seek attention, don't they?

I've gathered that. I'm nothing.. I'm me. I hate stereo-typing.. stereo-typing myself would be stupid.

I TOTALLY agree with Roxas.. Emo isnt something neat or COOL or good to be.

If you guys only knew what it means to be that kind of person...

they hate themselves, they dont have a faith or neither believe on something, they like being depressed every single hour of their existance instead of finding solutions to their problems.

I dont know whats so cool about ending ones life, when all the good stuff is here on earth.. or everyday challenge.

well its your decision if you choose to follow the other lambs to fall off the edge.. because really being an emo just shows how you really love following others trends.

Emo to a point is good. But me and my friends are going to go to Hot Topic decked out in Hollister stuff and ask for things in bright colors.

But Hot Topic is an amazing store and so is Spencers.

And just because your Emo doesnt mean you cut.
