when I lived in arizona there was a tornado... took off the roofs of two houses on our block... but now that I live in southern california... All I get are reallly bad fires.. One almost burnt down my friends house who lived up the street from me....

I'm scared of them too. Though only two have come through my county in the past 16 years and I never saw them. I want to put an end to them. I wanna be a storm chaser for a couple years before I die.

i have never seen a tornado apart from on the T.V

I was almost in a tornado once when my family was on a trip through the midwest on the way back home from Canada. We were able to leave the area before it got anywhere near us though. Now, I'd rather live with the major fires and earthquakes of Southern California rather than a tornado.

I used to live in Omaha, Nebraska. I was with my grandma at the time when the tornado hit. I was so scared that tears were rolling down my face. Luckily, the tornado didn't destroy our apartment and it headed towards a school for the deaf in Iowa.

The evidence of the 1990 tornado is in my woods in my backyard. We didn't live here then though. There are trees down everywhere.

i love to draw them, but i'd hate to be in one.apparently if you are in a plane in the middle of a tornado and keep in the exact middle you will be fine. They haven't proved it yet though.
