Unless it was a Pit Bull, eh?
Actually, come to think of it.. there were more Rottweilers than Pit Bulls at the shelter when I went to get Archie.

Then you can't call yourself a dog expert! You had one bad experience. I've had a bad experience with Dobermanns but I still think they're awesome dogs and wouldn't mind owning one some day.
So, maybe not every dog in the world is born perfect but you can't stereo-type the entire breed.

Yes they should! Give me some proof, proof that shows Pit Bulls shouldn't be own. I'm not interested in your 'opinion'. Pit Bulls are sweet dogs! I seriously feel like finding out where Diesel (my aunt's old pit bull) is and showing you how sweet he is! You've had one bad experience.

I read an article in the paper that said a 12year old boy was mauled by his pitbull.
Ha! Don't fall for the media lies. Just you write to them about their opinions on wolves...
True, I don't know you. But I know Pit Bulls. I've met plenty. Plenty of nice ones. There's one that I met that snarled at Archie but he was fine with me.

Well, wherever you live must be completely off the face of our earth then.

Check my location. Duh. England, United Kingdom. Europe. I've been to Florida and that's where I met Luke, a black Pit Bull. I would have only been about 12 then. He was pretty sweet too. So you can't say that the Pit Bulls I've met are only nice because they're from Europe.

Pit Bulls were bred to fight and most that are pets feel like they need to protect their owners all the time.
I do know pit bulls my sisters ex had one and he was nice and sweet. His parents also had one.
They were good dogs because they were put under their thumb so when they bared their teeth or did anything hostile they were hit. This caused them to assoiate their snarling nipping with pain so they wouldnt do anything.
It doesnt always matter how nice the owner is but it helps. It also is how disiplened the dog is.
