Pixar is who makes them, not Disney, just because Disney has its name on it, doesn't mean they make it.. besides, Toy Story and Toy Story 2 are great films.. I think they are more focusing on new films at the moment anyway, since they are bringing out a new film about rats next, forgot its name.

I don't see them making a Cars 2 unless it was as good as the first or better. They are starting to change things at Disney for the better. (I hope.) Since Disney bought Pixar.

Sequels didn't completely destroy the original, since sequels were at least seperate stories. Now midquels, THEY hurt the classics, because they almost completely modify their predessessor in almost every way they can.

I haven't heard anything about Cars 2, but I have heard there may be a Toy Story 3...

If there will be Cars 2 then I know that I will not watch it (It must be pointless, they'll ruin the story)

I dunno- I trust Pixar when it comes to sequals (I thought Toy Story 2 was even better than the 1st Toy Story and I LOVED the 1st one). Disney, however, I don't. I don't bother to watch many Disney sequals.

I enjoyed the first movie. The only sequel Pixar has brought out which was Toy Story 2 was a giant hit and as good as the first (In my Opionion). But I agree plotline for Cars 2??? :?

I dunno. I have the game and it takes place after the first movie so I guess that could be looked at as Cars 2.

I love the first Cars, but I dunno...of all the Pixar movies, the ones I'd most like to see sequels for, and that I think most likely WOULD be sequelized first, are Finding Nemo and The Incredibles. Possibly Monsters, Inc.

Cars 2! Juan Pablo Montoya can even tick off animated machines!

Seriously, please do not let this happen. Disney needs to learn their lesson not to make lackluster sequels that people are only going to hate and lose respect for the original film.
