I've never had an imaginary friend. I didn't really need one. Even when I was little, I had friends, family, a home. Even when I was depressed when I was little, I never made up an imaginary person or dog. It just seemed unnecessary...and a little strange. But I can understand why some people have them. They may need support, or they just have a wild imagination. Yep. :)

Ya your imaginary friends do change now and then. I sort of did leave the whole imaganary friend thing because I can talk to spirits and thats how they gave me the idea of a imaginary friend. A horse told me about it and I decided too make a imaginary friend because no one belives I'm able to talk to spirits.

ANYBODY, who is older than, say, EIGHT, who has an "imaginary friend", is seriously in need of some therapy.

Well, he's not really an imaginary friend...He's a ghost. My dog Elric died recently, and every now and again, I see him in his little yard we have in our backyard. Seriously, it's true. It's also a bit scary...

yes I used to have a lot of imaginary friends untill I was about nine I was an only child and my mum worked alot so I used to get quite lonely, I did have friends but had to keep them in school hours because my mum worked nights and I wasnt allowed to have friends round while she was at work. I also had to stay in my nans ouse and she had no other people in her house so they were like a comfort to me.... :)

I dont think people need serious therapy if they are over the age of 8 and have imaginary friends, they are need by kids of all ages for different reasons e.g lonely or abused ( I to was abused a few years ago brianna so I know how you feel) sometimes I fell very alone because I had no one to talk to about what had happened to me so I imagened up a male Black wolf named Bander and told him everything and it helped.....alot I even used to think he could protect me....

but that is in the past now I probably will never have another imaginary friend but it was good while it lasted  I belive it takes a good imagination to think up friends that arent there and actually see them :)

I used to, but I don't remember when I did nor who/what it was... I only remember going through a list of possible ones in my mind one night when I was like 6 or 7, but I don't remember which one I decided on... But I don't have one anymore.
