Just answering straight from the topic question. Not exactly on my lawn. But i have seen strays around my street. At one point 1 or 2 years ago, one of the strays jumped into our house threw the window downstairs. It's one of the windows to my room. At the time, we were still building it and we had the window open for air. We hadn't yet gotten the air conditioning put in. It was a little surprising.

I found an American Bulldog mix. We called him Chance. He was white and tan. We kept him for a few days and then the Humane Society came and picked him up. They told us a few days later, that he had been adopted out into a nice family.

Yeah back in Mexico I was racing my sister in my bike and we used to have a big lawn (lots are much cheaper in Mexico than they are here) and on the my way back my sister told me to go and see "a puppy" after a while I wne t back and we took him and named him Lobo, he was a huskie/GS dog/ Dalmatian mix with some other god knows what breed of dogs but he mostly looked like a fat little husky with grey furr and big blue eyes but after two days my dad decided we couldn't keep him and we gave him to a neighboor.

I found my cat in my front yard. I'm not sure if you would consider my dog a stray, but some momma dog & her pups were parading through my friends house, & one puppy stayed behind. We didn't know whos it was, so I guess she would be a stray.

I've seen lots of stray animals around my house, but they mostly belong to other people so I don't worry about that. Once before we moved into the house are living in now we had a stray dog come right up to our door and sit outside of it. We didn't even know it was there till my mom opened the door so we could get into the garage. And there it was a little gray dog sitting on our door looking up at us. We didn't get to keep it but I think it may have died because it had some problems with it when we saw it. Or I hope someone else took him in and took care of him.

Yes, it's happened before... all in the same area too. The only sad part is that both animals (One amm. staff. and a cat) had to be put down because of intense problems. The amm. staff. was heavily infested with fleas, ticks, and had a serious worm case. So we called the pound, and asked them to humanely put him down. The cat, I forgot what the reason was, but the cat had the same fate. She was just a mess, and I think she may have been hit by a car, so that's why she could no longer walk. The amm. staff. stayed the night at our huouse, but we didn't move him since he had a very hard time walking.

I have a black cat that lives under my shed in the backyard....does that count? XD he has a collar, but no tag...and we've had about 4 cats wonder and stay in our front yard a few times...some still do...XP

my sister and i let the black male cat in our house on a hot day...about 95 degrees (during the winter, but hey, it's Texas! 8D), and let it get a drink of fresh sink water (tis yummy! XD) and yeah...but now he's just staying under the shed...
