Kiruku padded over, cautiously. He didn't want to alarm anyone. His cried and yelled for his mother. "Mother!" His ears went up at a sound. "Mother?" He was desperate to find his mother... his father had lost in a battle for the pride and the new male forced him and his mother to leave. They were exiled from the lands the new male owned. All Kiruku wanted was his home.

"YOu must be strong Jenia your an adult now, i was the same like you were when my mother died," Shintara said hugging her daughter,

Shangeti nodded, but when he heard the cries again she got up and ran to it, "Taka, i'm sorry but i got worried," she said as she apologized, she then saw the little cub, her ears flattened against her head, as she knelt down in front of it, "Hey there little one, are you lost?" she asked her soft angelic voice asked

Roran couldn`t bear seeing Jenia so sad, and his mother-in-law was dying, that just added onto the pain.

Cody was looking for water, and food, they were harder to find now, and so he collapsed, unconcious.

Cody awoke when he felt a large lion nudging him awake, he jumped up and backed up a bit. "Who are you?" He asked

"I`m Roran, what`s your name kid?" he asked.

"Cody." He replied simply.

Shintara licked Jenia on the cheek, "Good-bye my daughter," Shintara coughed violently, "I don't have much time Jenia, just tell everyone that i will always watch over them," Shintara tried to breathe but it was getting harder, "I....I...I....Love..you Jenia," she then breathed her last breath, her head lay limp to one side, motionless,


Jenia stood there in front of her mother motionless body, she sighed sadly, "I love you too mom," she said silently, "I will never forget you," she paused, as tears began to stream down her cheeks, "Never," she then ran out of Shintara's cave and ran to her own and began sobbing uncontrolably
