"And dad'll give us a lecture" said Nightkit, he put on a rdiculously deep voice "DOnt fight until your apprentices and you know how to"

Bloodteeth eyes grew wide in gasp "What?! Why?"

Yellowkit giggled and nearly lost her balance "So much like him!"

Dawnpelt spoke straight after her "Very much like him indeed.." she said half amused half serious that they were making fun of her mate

"The cat I'd had them with had been killed and They were short of warriors" mumbled SLash "IFang would have killed them If I hadnt given Them up" she paused and sniffed "I gave them to a friend of mine who was a Loner...I dont know what happened to them after that"

bloodteeth looked down to, frowning "Im so sorry to hear of that.. but you know in the clans it is different. you ever wanted to be a queen?"

Nightkit spun around "Oh,Hey mom"

Slash looked confused for a second "Queen?" she repeated uncomprhendingly

Bloodteeth blinked "Oh sorry, Queens are mothers of clans. when a warrior is pregnent or is nursing kits. they live in the nursery as queens. Basicly a mother"

Yellowkit stopped laughing but giggled alittle under her breath "Hi mom"

Dawnpelt sighed "You both been geting into trouble again?"

"Soner you two are apprentices the better" grumbled Emberpelt "you used to be able to get some sleep around here"

Bloodteeth nodded "And your awarrior. if you ever wished to be a mother. Kits are more then welcome here. point is in future you can try being a real mother without the worry"

Darkclaw arrived behind him "from what i hear you sound like YOU want kits with her"

Bloodteeth blinked "What? Darkclaw go away we are talking.."

bloodteeth glared then Darkclaw turned and walked off "hes starting to bug me.."

Yellowkit played with the grass with her paw "Well.. We want to be but we keep being told we have to wait.. i wanna be a apprentice now!!"

Emberpelt chuckled "You have to be six moons old" she said "But I have no trouble seeing either of you as apprentices, Thpuh I do pity your mentors"

Slash smiled and flicked him gently with her tail "Dont listen to him" she said.

bloodteeth instantly forgot "I never do" he chuckled "But anywho as i was saying. you be safe here. Bloodclan does sound harsh.. here you be respected to the full. and prehaps in future you can live the life as a mother. which you missed before" He said trying to lighten her spirits

Yellowkit blinked "Whats pity?"

Dawnpelt rolled her eyes "No matter dear, Now come over here you two. time to take a nap, Emberpelt needs one and i rather have you both in here safe then out there where warriors roam."

"I could be an apprentice already" said Nightkit but went in anyway

Emberpelt smiled "The only person I've seen get intomore trouble as a kit was Darkclaw"

Slash smiled "Yeah,Maybe"

Bloodteeth poked slash with his tail "but your still young. you can do so much. and you gotten accepted very well here in shadowclan. i bet even darkclaw was glad to find you in the forest and brought here" he chuckled "Or maybe not but darkclaw seems to like you to"

Dawnpelt chuckled "I was only a kit when he became a apprentice. and still he was geting into trouble"

Yellowkit nodded "we almost 6months arent we?" She asked her bro but her mother answered for her "Yes but you still a kit for now so your going to have to follow our rules. now sleep"

Nightkit Grinned "I Cant WIAT" he mewed Loudly.

Slash smield "I suppose" she said "Thanks Bloodteeth"

Yellowkit nodded "YeaH!"

Dawnpelt glared "SLEEP!"

Yellowkit cowered the made herself over to her mother and layed down by her belly for comfort. and fell into a silent slumber

bloodteeth smiled "Come on. lets go see whos going on patrol. maybe we can go"

Nightkit paded over and curled up next to his sister
