Later, after they had done all the cages, Onyx jumped off Smudge. "Thats all." She then heard a few whimpers.

Smudge pricked her ears up "Whats that?"

"Puppies." Onyx declared. "Is there any cells that we didn't get? Or do they keep puppies in a diffrent room?"

"We got all the cells" said Smudge.

"Then they must keep the pups in a diffrent room."

Smudge looked around "But where?"

Onyx looked down to the other side of the kennels. There was another door. She walked into it. "There in here!"

She then saw two cages of pups. One of them was full with 6 puppies.

She read the sign.



Onyx looked at Click and Indra as they wrestled. Click was light golden color, with an orange tip on his tail. Also, he had orange ears. He had a white spot around his eye, and also a white underbelly and such. He had brown eyes. Indra on the other hand was a bluish colored pup. He had a white splotch on his tail, and grey hind paws. He also had grey front paws. He had three lighter blue stripes across his back. He has a deep red underbelly, and a stripe going up his face. He had one red ear, and one white. He had tri colored eyes, one red and one green.

She then switched her gaze from the two pups wrestling to three pups sleeping. June, Patches, and Rufus. June was a pup with a very busy coat. She had many different colors, and many different markings that are two hard to explain. But she did have one blue eyes, as one green as well. Patches was a dark grey colored pup. On his right hind leg, he had some grey spots. On his left, he had his leg all grey. He had light grey ‘socks’ on his front legs. The grey flowed up to his face, and made many markings everywhere, covering his ears as well. He had pireceing blue eyes that just stung right threw you. And Rufus was a pink colored pup, but not bald. He had a light brown tail with a dark brown tip. He had dark brown paws, with ‘pink’ spots on them. Light grey underbelly. He had brown stripe going up his back and down his face. He had sky blue eyes.

Then there was one last pup, the pup who had been whimpering. Violet. She was A dark grey. She has one light grey hind foot. She has a light grey tail, and has a patch on her rump connecting to the tail. She also had light grey ears and a nose bridge. She had white underbelly and such, with grey eyes.

Onyx waited for Smudge to come in.

Smudge trotted in and gasped "Whoah" she said looking at the six Pups "Talk about it takes all sorts" she muttered. She went over to the next cage not bothering to read the sighn. One pup caught her eye, It was a golden pup with deep brown eyes. She cocked her head on one side "Ok" she said "How do we get these things open"

"I odnt know." Onyx said. "We need your claws to pick the lock."

Smudge looked hesitant.

"Juts do it. Its already 6:00. The humans will be here in two hours."

Smudge stood on her back paws.

"Now pick the lock with your claws." Onyx said.

Smudge fiddled with the lock.

The door swinged open to the cage. "Pups, we can only take three at a time for safety reasons." Onyx said. "Cougar, you take Click. I'll take Rufus. Smudge, you take Patches." She instuced, putting Rufus on her back. Cougar picked Click by the scruff.
