There was silence for a moment, and then across the stream, Everett pulled himself out of the water, clinging to the dry land as he coughed up water.

Shane launched himself at Everett, snarling fiercley. "Where is SHE!?!?" He barked, threateningly holding his head close to Everett's neck.

Everett growled under Shane's hold. "I DON'T KNOW!" he snapped. "The fuzzball bit me and made me fall into the stream! She ran off or something!"

Shane grabbed Everett's scruff and threw him back into the stream. "Dont you EVER lay a hand on her again!!" He warned, taking off. "Rochelle?" Shane called, begining to worry.

Everett yelped when he fell into the water and had to struggled until he climbed out.
Rochelle was no where to be seen. And Shane received no answer when he called.

Tears began to drain out of Shane's eyes as he tore through the woods. "CHEEELLLLEEE!" He called, looking around every corner, snifffing anywhere for a scent.

The sky darkened and showed signs of raining. The thunder gently rolled across the sky.

Shane cursed loudly, and howled for any signs of his friend. "Rochelle?" He said, sitting down. He folded his ears down, and sighed. "Kurts gonna kill me..."

The rain began to fall from the sky, soaking the ground. A flash of lightning crackled across the sky, followed by gentle thunder.

Shane sat lay down, burying his face in the mud. "What am i gonna do?" He asked himself.

There was a rustling in the brush, as a young, yet tall blonde dog mix stepped out, sniffing in Shane's direction.

Shane stood up quickly as the rain began to pour and he noticed the male. "Who are you?" he demanded, growling.

The younger dog's ears flipping back. "I...uh..." He lowered his head. "An..tonio..."

Shane narrowed his eyes, and then sighed. "Im sorry if im being rude...I just....Lost someone." He said sadly.

Antonio nodded. "Is...she little?...and reddish..kinda? Like a fox?" he questioned with his head tilted almost at a 90 degree angle.
