Leftclaw smiled "Oh just fine, Was talking about fuzzyfur"

Drystar smiled back "i see, Bout being a elder?"

"Just in general"

"i see.. Well enough small talk. i want you two to go out on patrol from fourtrees to end of the riverclan border. we had scents of rogue cats around there and that old barn. i like you both to go alone" Drystar said more serious

Leftclaw blinked "Alone?"

Drystar nodded "I got oakfang and swampeye going up the shadowclan border. and bramblepelt is ill. Take a apprentice if you wish"

Leftclaw turned to hawkfoot "Well i would like to bring Sharppaw on a patrol"

Drystar nodded "Il go tell him to meet you at the entrance, Hurry your tails" he said before walking of to the apprentice's den to tell sharppaw

Leftclaw turned to hawkfoot "Lets go shall we?"

Hawkfoot nodded "Come one" he said starting off.

Leftclaw followed meeting Sharppaw at the entrance jumping so much it looks like he was trying to fly "Well you look excited"

Sharppaw nodded "aint been on a patrol in ages! lets go!" He said being first to run our the entrance

Leftclaw giggled and raced after him

Hawkfoot chuckled and raced after them. Soon getting near the barn "this brings back memoruies" he said.

Leftclaw arrived next to hawkfoot, stroking his cheek with her head "Sure does.. when i met the big strong riverclan cat.."

Sharppaw was sniffing around and sneezed "Ack.. Stupid nose never works when i say" He arrived to the two cats just hearing the comment "Ew.. you know were on patrol right?"

Hawkfoot smield at her Then nodded "Yeah,Sure,Sorry Sharppaw" he grinned then snigffed.

Leftclaw sniffed to "Rats.. Rats and twolegs thats it" she turned towards fourtrees "Lets try up the border. maybe rogues/riverclan cats have passed" She said setting off

Hawkfoot nodded and set off.

Arriving to fourtrees none of the cats found any scents "Well thats a relief.. nothing.." Leftclaw said then instantly she gained a scent "wait.."

Sharppaw eyes sparled "what? Other cats? finally.. get to do some fighting.."

Leftclaw looked around and realised the cat scents came from fourtrees but seemed alittle stale "hm.. coming from fourtrees.. Ah well.. Sharppaw would you head back to camp? maybe hunt on the way.. tell Drystar we never found any scents"

Sharppaw head fell "but you just said there was scents

Leftclaw shaked her head "Stale ones and they out of our territory. go on now, i want to talk to hawkfoot privately."

sharppaw sighed "ok.." he turned walking back to camp. leftclaw looked to Hawkfoot smiling

Hawkfoot looked at her "Wut?"

Leftclaw waited for sharppaw to be out of sight "Theres fresh scent towards fourtrees. wanna come check it out?" she said getting up and walking towards fourtrees, curiosity geting to her

Hawkfoot nodded and walked beside her "WHy did you tell Sharppaw to go?"

"that lil guy would rush in and give away our position. you know when he was a kit. he followed us when we went to battle shadowclan, he didnt get in battle which was good cause we caught him. he would try sneak in to fight these cats. Comeon and shush" She said sneaking into fourtrees, looking through each bush the scents got stronger. there was many scents from the gathering but two standed out and more fresh. Looking around was clear till she walked to the next bush and heard silent meows nearby. Looking out to fourtrees, she spotted one cat sitting by highstones.. "Wetstar?" She silently said to hawkfoot
