Um, it's complicated, I don't like wizards in the first place, not to mention all the other things that go along with it, just ew. There's probably a hundred reasons to hate Twilight pfft. I hate the whole series, not that I'd even bother to read the rest pf the books As for the GC same reason Wolf Paws said, they kill God, like whut, that's just... ludicrous, and absurd.

The Twilight Saga. I have never read it, but I shall get to why. I have heard many reviews, seen many things, read loads of stuff, about what happens in the books, how the characters are, and how its a total emo-stage for a whole book. All the reviews are nearly exactly alike in wording (from people like me who dislike this sort of thing) : Boring, dull, Bella whines (not surprising), and I have even viewed a thing on a site called 'The Oatmeal' which made its own review about Twilight. It only took a few minutes for the point to come across: When you spend mass-majority of the time describing how a character looks, move on. And apparently while Edward is all described as practically a god, Bella isn't described at all. Not only that, but as people have also said about Edward watching Bella sleeping at night is just weird! And Edward sparkling? No, just... Just no... Also, I am on Team Buffy, so that sums the rest of my rant up.
I also disliked To Kill a Mockingbird. I just found it dull. The Southern scene and speech was just not for me. Not only that but I found the plot completely and utterly confusing. And I really like to read, so I'm actually surprised at myself for not getting it. But it just was not my book and it was a torture to read in school.

I thought I would absolutely hate Twilight but ended up liking it. Because I decided it was stupid to judge something that I hadn't read. And really, there is no set definition on a "vampire" because they aren't real. The vampire myth has been altered so many times before, but everyone decides to throw a hissy fit because Myers decided to make her's sparkle - using that to explain why they don't venture out in the sunlight. And really, its the same with the "Its stupid of a girl to fall in love with a vampire!!" .... Buffy and Angel all ready beat Bella and Edward to the punch. They did that whole thing a long time before Twilight came out. --- That being said, there really aren't any books I can think of that I hate. I didn't necessarily like the books we were forced to read in school because I don't enjoy being told I have to read something.

Cause I saw the movie and it lost my interest within the first ten minutes. And at least Buffy made it look GOOD to love a vampire, because pretty much going all emotional and stuff over someone who keeps saying no is just annoying. If you'd like to continue this conversation, I'd be happy to PM, but if you don't want to, that's okay to. Silly or not, I believe that vampires should be burned to ashes in sunlight, not sparkle like a fairy.

Silly or not, I believe that vampires should be burned to ashes in sunlight, not sparkle like a fairy. It's not so much the fact that he sparkles in the freaking sun that bothers me [as MUCH], it's the whole being a stalker thing that bothers me. Come ON people! That's just creepy and wrong! I don't care WHO the heck you think you are!! And the books/movies practically encourage the thinking that life's not worth living after you loose your love. Honestly! There's more fish in the sea! And ones that DON'T sparkle and think of you as fast food! I was never a huge fan of Buffy and Angel myself as a couple, but one thing that teens could take away from that was, that even if things don't work out between a boyfriend or girlfriend, it's not the end of the world. Twilight sucks. End of story.

You see all these shows, books, and even real life situations where a couple breaks up and now they have nothing else to live for. Seriously, if you think that having a boyfriend/girlfriend is all there is to life, then you SHOULD be depressed. I mean, there's nothing more to life, right? Gawsh. I admit Twilight was god-awful, and I sure hope my book won't be as bad as this one. It's funny how Twilight is soooo successful, but so many people bash it. I am one of those people.

Sasha's Chariot wrote: Roi Doberwolf wrote: Twilight sucks. End of story. Couldn't have said it better myself. This is still a matter of opinion. :3 And last I checked, people were free to have whatever opinion they want. As there actually are normal people who like Twilight. I'm not "OMFGEDWARDDOME!!!" crazy... Those people are flat out weird and give the whole "fandom" a horribly bad name. I think the children who base their lives around it are mental as well. And as long as its in good taste, I can laugh at the books. I get that there's going to be people that make fun/don't like things, but if they want respect then they should respect those who DO like the things they are making fun of. Period. And it isn't meant to bash people who dislike the books. I could really care less. And I don't blame guys for not liking the Twilight series because that's a little weird in my opinion.

I personally think Twilight is a badly written book. | And here is my newly added book; (I don't know If I already said this, But I had to re-read it) Roar Of thunder, hear my cry. I mean, it has a good story it wants to tell, but it just bores me to tears.

Could you say 'twilight' one more time there, Tibb? Keep in mind I said I hate twilight, not those that love/like it. Some of my best friends are fans of it. LAWLS @ Sasha, and @ Paws: when you have WAY to many lovers, you're gonna have a few haters mixed in there. That's how popularity rolls.
