Moto nodded, then grabbed Maliha by the scruff and passed her back to queen Amani before getting up. "Today, we shall work on stalking techniques. You'll find them similar to hunting techniques," Moto said as he padded towards the cave entrance. He knew how good the prince was now, and hoped to expand upon that.

Tafari nodded and followed Moto, his claws out making scrapping sounds on the ground he had never been trained before since his father left his mother when she told him that she was expecting his cub. As they reached out in the plains he looked at Moto,''So what's the first lesson?'' He asked.

'If you're thirsty or anything just let me know and I'll gladly watch the little cubs for you Queen Amani.'' She said watching the cubs nestle in their mother's arms.

Kensai smiled at Maliha then looks toward his father smiling "yeah I would love to" he said nuzzling his mom and little sisters before looking at Bahati "thank you " he said proudly walking toward his father.

Bakari walked with Kensai out into the Pridelands. As they reached the border, they began to pace around it, looking into the distance for any other lions, friendly or not. "Kensai, I need to talk to you about your future in this Pride. I can see you are very loyal and brave, but you have physical strength to back this up.mi just wanted to ask whether you have any plans as to what you want to be?"

Kensai looked up at his father "well I love oh pride and I'm becoming very strong, I was thinking guard patrol, I don't like rough lions trying to sneak in and I want to keep Maliha and Alika safe along with radhi and everyone else"

"Try to copy my moves and we'll see how you do," he said. He crouched down, but spread his legs out so he wouldn't be caught on them when walking. He gently moved one leg forward and placed it on the ground silently. "Soon, he seemed to be gliding across the ground. After a few more paces, he stopped. "Now you try," he said, turning to the teenager.

Tafari nodded and did the exact same moves but without warning he slipped on a piece of a twig and fell on the ground his head tuft covering his eyes and he huffed which made his hair tuft fly up a little and go back down again,''Darn it!'' He said and tried again and this time he got it right and was now gliding on the ground.

Bahati looked at the cubs,''I think watching the cubs sleep is making me sleepy.'' She said as she yawn roared which made the cubs look at her with big curious eyes.

"Guard patrol?" Said Bakari. "That sounds perfect! Seeing as we're doing it already, how about I give you some tips!" Bakari walked a few more paces and looked out into the distance. "Always look to the horizon, but also look at places that are nearer. Never attack anyone unless they attack first - we try and be as friendly as possible in the Pridelands! Also, I find it useful to look at things out of the corner of your eye because I find I can detect small movements." He paused and they walked a little bit further before Bakari said "I think it is really nice of you wanting to do guard patrol to help protect the young cubs. One day, you'll have your own to protect!"

Amani caught Bahati's yawn. "Yikes! Me too!" Then she laughed as both Maliha and Alika yawned too. "Why don't we all get some rest!"

Bahati laughed ''I agree, I guess yawning is contagious. I haven't seen Ubora or your sister Uhuru. I hope they are ok.'' She said watching the cubs snuggle close in their mother's fur and Bahati was beginning to feel very tired so she then put her head on her paws and within moments she fell asleep as did young Alika and Mahila and their mother Queen Amani.

"Good. Now, try to sneak up on those birds, and we'll see how close you get," he said, motioning with his tail towards a flock of birds pecking at the ground. He knew that he needed to give the cubs the extra push so that they could accomplish their tasks. "Remember to keep low, and try to remain downwind," he added, then crouched down so he wouldn't disturb them. His ears pricked as he began to watch the cub.

Kensai looked at his father "i may never have cubs of my own father but I will protect those of others."

Tafari nodded and got low to the ground and began walking towards the flock of birds pecking on the ground,'Stupid birds' He thought as he got closer and keeping as quite as possible and roared scaring the flock of birds Tafari ran after them he then jumped up in mid air and got a hold of one of the birds and brought it down with one strike with his paw and watched the other birds fly away in fear. Tafari then picked up his prey and trotted back towards Moto who had an approving smile Tafari then dropped the dead bird at Moto's paws smiling. ''How did I do?'' He asked.

Bakari turned his head away from Kensai, trying not to let him see the tears falling. He thought Kensai was a kind, loving lion with a warm heart. Once he stopped crying, he turned back to Kensai. "How about we head back now. I bet your mother's getting worried about the both of us!"

"Very good, however, I don't think your enemies will get scared off by a little roar. Good nonetheless though," he said, getting up. "Now, we shall practice battle tactics," he added, sitting down closer to the teen. Unsheathing one claw, he began to draw in the sand. He mad a mass that looked a bit like Priderock with a few Xs on it, then, went across from the image and drew some Os. "Now, the Os stand for our enemies. They're trying to invade Priderock here," he said, flicking his tail to motion to each in turn. "What's your first strategy?" he asked, looking to the cub.

Tafari looked at the image in the dirt and began to think it took him awhile until he said something,''Warn the others?'' Tafari said with a questionable gaze.
