"I'm glad you're ok, Syaoran." Zajiao said to his brother, as the pack was walking back to the den.

"Ah shoot, don't worry 'bout me, lil bro." Syaoran gave Zajiao a warm, brotherly smile.

"Oh thanks Sadie." Syaoran smiled at her. If or not Sadie liked him, Syaoran was unaware of. He was in his own carefree oblivious world.

Sadie caught up to Chevek and licked his cheek. "Dad," she said. "Can I go hunting with some friends? " she asked. "I don't see why not." Chevek replied. Sadie was Chevek's daughter.

Syaoran kept on walking with a cheerful smile on his face.

Zajiao flattened his ears in embarrassment at Christa's comment.

"He... he told you that?" Zajiao said shyly.

Chevek heard the conversation between the two. He turned his head back to them. "I said that to cheer Christa up." Finally the den was back in site. Another thing in site was a whole pack sniffing out the territory. As the omegas weren't allowed to fight they hid in the den alone with Chevek's other pups. Apparently they haven't checked out the den yet. "Everyone stay here." Chevek whispered. Chevek trotted over. "I'd like to speak to the um, alpha." He said . "That would be me. I'm Miguel. " He said. "Okay, Miguel. Get off my ***** territory or there's going to be trouble." Chevek lowerd his head and bared his teeth. "What makes you think this is your?" Miguel asked, sarcastically. "My mate and pups are in the den. The omega wolves of my pack are ALSO in there." Chevek growled. His pack then came though the bush. "What's going on?" Akia growled. "This wolf and his pack want this territory. " "Well sorry, but this is ours." Akia replied. Miguel lunged for Chevek and the pack got in a huge fight.

Both Syaoran and Zajiao immediately jumped on Miguel and tore him off of Chevek, growling and snarling and tearing at Miguel's throat.

"DON"T TOUCH MY ALPHA!!" Syaoran snarled, while Zajiao clamped his jaws onto Miguel'l leg, snapping the bone.

Christa and Savannah lunged at two females necks and tore their necks."THIS IS OUR TERRITORY AND NO OTHER PACK WILL TAKE IT!"Christa shouted.Savannah felt a strong body leap on top of her.Savannah looked up and saw a male wolf of the pack."Get off me *******!"Savannah shouted as she pushed him off the pinned him tearing at his neck.

After killing Miguel, Syaoran and Zajiao split up, taking on new enemy wolves.

Chevek shoved the two males away and looked at the limp alpha in front of him. He quickly lunged for his throat, he ripped his throat nearly clean off before jumping away for another wolf. He pinned a female wolf just before him. He snarled as she looked at him. She just about opened her mouth to cry when Chevek clamped her mouth shut with his jaws. Chevek ripped her muzzle off and let it sit near her body. Wolves dying, in the snow, just before summer. Chevek and his pack killed every wolf. Sitting in the snow, crying at the sight, was a small pup. Chevek lunged for him and killed him instantly, the pups brother watched. The other little pup ran to his sister's dead, limp body laying in the snow. Chevek bit the head of him and crushed it. "I will not have anything of their pack, anymore!" Chevek snarled and went to the den to check on Jolie.

Syaoran and Zasshu stood over the bodies of the dead pups, feeling sympathy for them and wishing them happiness in heaven. Being chinese wolves, Syaoran and Zajiao were raised to respect all life.

Chevek howled as he looked at the pups. He didn't want to kill them, but he didn't want any trace of the pack left.

Sadie lyed at the very back of the den, lonely. She lyed her head down, and wished for warmth.
