"Sorry!" Yelled Hiccup from his stall. "I'm trying to get this new tail fin on Toothless but he's not necessarily agreeing." The. Another bang! came from Hiccup's stall.

"Uhh, Hiccup, please control your dragon. Things are falling off the wall in here." Nova said, a shovel almost landing on her foot.

"Again... Sorry!"
"The race will begin in 2 minutes!" Yelled a voice from the arena. "We better get going if we're gonna win this thing, Peace." Said June. "Lets go." And they headed out to the arena.

"Come on, Meatlug, let's lose this thing." Nova pushed the dragon along. It seemed like half of Berk was lines up at the start line. Nova could only imagine the things the twins probably did to make people sign up.

"I'll pay ya 12 hundred tokens if you win!" "How many other people are racing?" "Uhhh, 2?" "Sign me up!"

Uh, those twins. Everyone lined up at the starting line, including Snotlout. "Hey Hiccup, are you hungry?" "Uh, why?" Asked Hiccup in reply. "Cuz you're about to eat my dust!" Snotlout kicked Hookfang in the side which made him kick sand at Hiccup. "*cough* Argh, yeah, well, be prepared to face.... Hictooth!"

"Hictooth?" Asked June. "Yeah, not best best comeback."

Nova watched the teens bickering. She felt a little pang of jealousy. She had never really had a dragon of her own, she could keep and train and fly and defend and stuff. She haden't really cared before, and had been perfectly happy raising and training dragons so they could have wonderful loving owners, but now... she did. She wanted a dragon of her own, one that could actually compete in tournaments like these. She would even have something to talk about with the other teens, something to brag about.

...

(Sorry for the dot dot dot. My com messed up)

"Three! Two! One! Go!" And the teens were off, racing into the bright blue sky. The clouds were so high, bit they were going so high it seemed as if they could go to Heaven itself.

Meatlug was doing surprisingly well, being only second to last place.

But in first, was Hiccup and Toothless.
"Ladies and Vikngs, here are our current standings:
1st: Hiccup
2nd: June
3rd: Snotlout
4th: Ruff and Tuff
5th: Stoick
And all the others that we really don't care about."

"And I dont care about your face!" Nova shouted. Exactly who was commentating this thing?

"Me!" Shouted a viking on a watchtower, who looked surprisingly like Bob from bobsledding.

Nova ignored him and concentrated on saying encouraging things to Meatlug, who was huffing and puffing and chugging along.

"Nova!" June shouted to Nova. "I heard from Ruff, who heard from Tuff, who heard from Snotlout, who heard from Fishlegs, that Meatlug likes to be kissed on the cheek!"

Nova nodded and leaned over and kissed the dragon on her scaly cheek.
