"This way, Firefly," Loki ordered and pushed past the brown canine who sighed and rolled his eyes. As Loki walked into the territory, more wolves, mangled, heavily scarred, and some flea ridden ones, stared wide eyed at Firefly.

Firefly felt nervous and shy around all these wolves who were staring at her. She tucked her tail in a fearful way and followed Loki. Staying close to him. Her ears were back but her moves were still graceful and agile.

Some of the males whistled and wagged their tails as Firefly passed and Loki growled at them. Some of the wolves didn't back off, but moved closer.
"Get back! All of you!" the collared wolf shouted and bared his teeth.

Firefly cowered behind Loki, away from the other guys in the pack. She didn't want to give them a wrong impression so she stood up straight, trying to act stiff. She growled but it was weak and pathetic still. Some pack members laughed, she could hear them,

A larger black wolf walked through the crowed, making the other wolves back down instantly. He stopped in front of Loki and the younger wolf stood his ground. "I have a new pack member, Alpha," he said and the higher ranked wolf looked over to Firefly.

Firefly put her ears forward slowly and straightened up a bit more. Her white fur making her a little bit more 'seen' in the pack. She looked at the larger black wolf, waiting for him to say something to her. She hated to have awkward silences.

"You know we need more members if we want to actually be a real pack and not a colony of drifters," Loki said and the Alpha sighed. "She must prove herself worthy first."
Loki growled and looked at Firefly. "Come with me." He started walking along with the Alpha.

Firefly followed Loki timidly, leaning over and whispering to him. "What are we doing? Where are we going?" she asked, keeping next to Loki but distant from the alpha.

Angel looks at Skylar."Hey Sky ...What do you want to do?"Angel asked

Skylar shrugged, "I dunno. Want to go for a swim or something?" He asked, desperate to get away from all the pack attention and to go somewhere nice and relaxing to him.

Angel smiled."Lets go to the waterfall..."She said and smiled. She loved it there. It was her own quiet place.

Skylar nodded, standing up and following her the whole way to the waterfall. He had been to a waterfall before, back at his old pack, but he knew that this one would be different somehow. Which it was.

Angel smiled and laid down.

Skylar lay beside her, mind deep in thought about his his kids might turn out to look like. He knew there had to be at least 2 that looked like him, a boy and a girl. He'd find out in 9 weeks.

Angel smiled and could not wait for 9 weeks.
