Rosie dreamed about her family, and then about Aussie, she smiled in her sleep.

Aussie soon woke a few hours later. He saw her next to him, he smiled and stood up walking outside witout disturbing her, walking around the old territory to see if he can salvage anything. His pack where ones that lived in trees or under trees. Keeps a good eye view of everything since there is a lot of trees.

Rosie woke with light streaming into her den, she lifted her head and blinked sleepily, she rose and stretched, walking out and blinking in the light.

Aussie was able to find a few good things of small cans that could be a bit useful There was nothing in them but Aussie knew what to do. He looked for all the cans he could find then brought them back to their little den and set them near the old fire-pit that was there. digging away all of the ashes and stuff he started to dig down creating a better put where he can set water in. but he was going to need some more cans It was going to take a while. "Hmm... lets see... made out of stone rocks... I got it." he jumped towards the back of the den where it was chipping big rocks. Carefully he broke some off using the strength that he had and placed them in the pit so the water doesn't fertile the soil instead of being used for better purposes.
Since there was a breach near by. even knowing it was frozen over he knows that sand is a good thing to use so he filled a few cans with that coming back and putting it under the stone before he sat down for sometime to think about a few things.

Rosie watches him curiously, wondering what he was doing. She followed him and looked at the water in surprise, "how'd you think of that?" she asked.

"Well It's actually quite easy to tell this is my old pack territory. As far as I knew. A fire ended up starting ruining half the area around here." he said looking back at the little pit he made "This was so we don't have to go to the beach often. Not worry about any threats that could happen."

Rossie nodded, "this is your pack territory? Cool. What happened to everyone?" she asked.

"Old pack territory." he said and sighed. "Like I just said forest fire forced everyone onto the other side of the mountain. It was at least a good 3 to 4 years ago.

"Oh." Rosie said and nodded, "well, it sure is nice." she added.

Aussie nodded before he looked away from her trying to hid a tear from her eyes he acted like nothing was wrong so he picked up the old cans or cups and set them in the back before he laid down on his little bed.

Rosie watched him, concern written all over her face. "You alright there Aussie?" she asked, moving over towards him.

"Yea i'm fine." he said stretching a little while laying down.

Rossie nodded, still concerned. "if you say so." she said softly and walked back out into the sunlight.

Aussie sighed a bit before closing eyes drifting into sleep again. He missed his family and his pack very much. Finding the old territory was just a sign that he wanted to go back even more.

Rosie sat outside, soaking up the sun. She felt like Aussie needed a bit of time alone to morn his pack and she understood, oftentimes she wished she hadn't left her old pack, but then again she hadn't died and neither had Aussie and they had found each other. She was deeply comforted by that thought.
