Tabitha::
She opened the window more and jumped out. She took off, ducking down low. She hurried over to the tree he was in. Smiling up at him. She looked over at John's house, wanting to not come back. She looked over at Blade. It's okay. She said quietly.

"So, is he your real dad?" Blade asked, they looked nothing alike, her and the man he had seen. The man had made him nervous, but most men did. They all seemed to remind him of his father, and his father had not been a nice person.

Tabitha::
No. She said and leaned against the tree. She didn't know what to do or say. She was just so bored. Got a girlfriend? She asked casually like it wasn't an important question. She looked over at the house again. She wanted to be off punishment.

Blade thought about the question. The answer was most definately no, he had had a girl- friend, but not girlfriend. "No." he said simply, he heard his 'mother' calling his name and saw her on her horse, he looked at Tabitha and back at her. "One minute." he yelled.

Tabitha::
Oh. She said and heard John start knocking on her bedroom door. Gotta go, bye. She said and bolted for her window. She hurried through her window. She hurried and shut it, opening her bedroom door.


John::
I just came to tell you goodnight. He said and sat on the corner of her bed. He motioned her over, pulling her onto his lap gently. He looked at her. You don't like me why? He said and Tabitha sighed, shrugging. Well you know I see you as my daughter. He said and she nodded.

Magic smiled as Blade ran over, "Who was that?" she asked as he swung onto Tink, she saw him blush, but all he did was shrug. "A friend." he said. She smiled, "Uh huh." she said, they both laughed.

John::
You look prettier when you smile. He said and tickled Tabitha slightly. She smiled some, trying to cover her sides. Ha, you see? Beautiful. He said and smiled at her. He rubbed her back slightly. Just, try and get along with me? I'm doing the best I can. He said and Tabitha nodded some. That'a girl. He said and hugged her, for the first time.

Blade glanced at Tabitha's house one last time before following Magic on horseback towards their house, he smiled and patted Tink's side, he had a feeling that wouldn't be the last he'd see of the other girl.

Blade and his 'mother' went for a long ride and talked. He could tell that thy both (he and his adopted mother) were going to get along marvelously. They went back to the house and he went into his room/ stall. His 'mother' got him some speakers and he got on pandora and played music in the barn, he lay back and smiled, thinking about Tabitha. He had a funny feeling that he would be seeing her tomorrow.

Blade listened to music and lounged, he was bored now, as most boys his age got easily. He took out a book that he had always had and began to read it again. He had read it many times, it was all he had left from his real mother.

Blade finished the book, it was short, naturally, it was pretty much a baby book. It was about how love was strong and it always made him think of his mother, his mother, his father had abused her, so one day she had packed up and left, telling him she'd be back for him, the next day, they got a call saying that a car- hit and run- had killed her and thus, he was motherless, his father had been heartbroken and furious, he had loved her, no matter how much he had yelled and beat her, he turned on Blade and had never treated his son like a human being since, Blade had resorted with only just getting by, he was skinny and knew how to avoid things and keep people calm, he hated getting angry, but it was in his blood, he tried, but he had his parent's temper, he had learned to control it most of the time, but still, it was his father and mother combined in him and he hated it. He looked at his book and sighed, his mother had truly loved him so. He wished she was still alive, but he had Magic now.

Tabitha::
She brought Marleen to the bathroom, helping her little sister get a bath. She dressed her in her night clothes and put her to bed early. Tabitha took a bath herself, loving feeling clean. She looked over at John. Can I go outside? She asked, John agreed. John was sitting on the couch, playing tug-of-war with Dakota. Tabitha smiled and walked outside. She was bored and wanted something to do.
