Kat narrowed her eyes at him, "No they don't. Emotions are what makes us...Human.." She said, looking down then looking back at him.

"Being human..." Ian echoed, that stuck close to home. He sighed.
"I dont like emotions, they tie you down to things. It's all better without emotions."

"But then...what about happiness? Joy? Laughter? Humor? You miss out." Kat argued.

"I've no room for that in my life. I sleep in a cell, eat outside of it only when invited, and am let out to kill." Ian huffed, slipping a glare in Kat's direction.

"Well...You can be happy now, can't you? That isn't your life anymore!" Kat insisted.

"Right..." Ian grumbled, almost sadly. He didn't know of another lifestyle than this, and living with the queen wasn't SO bad.

"Be happy..?" Kat almost demanded, though she did ask it in a mock question. She didn't know why she cared so much.

Ian didn't reply, he just kept on moving.
"Where to now?" He asked, looking at Kat.

Kat perked, seeing as they came to a fork in the road, "Left." She said casually, knowing where the mountain was by heart.

Ian gave a quick nod and steered the horse off to the left, quickening to a gallop in case someone were to see them.

Kat sighed and fallowed him at a fast pace, never really liking horses all that much.

Ian scanned the road warily before continuing.
"Come on, let's sit for a sec." He said abruptly, stopping his horse and hopping off, he led them into a small field, and sat down in the grass, before pulling out a small loaf of bread from the little knapsack he'd stolen.

Kat nodded, fallowing him into the green field and hopping off her steaming horse. She, too, sat and snagged some of his bread. "Hope you don't mind!" She said cheerfully.

Ian ripped what was left in half and tossed a half to Kat.
"I don't eat a lot, used to a small diet." He explained boredly.

Kat took the half and few it to the horses, then took the piece she'd snagged and ate it gratefully, "So, still gonna kill me when this is all over?" Kat asked jokingly.
