Kovu::
His upper lip twitched with fury, he sighed and stopped. I'm alone in this world. Everyone knows it, he paused for a brief second and looked at him. I'm just a bag of skin, hollow inside my heart. I kill and cause pain to satistify the attention I never got. He looked away.

"Hmph... I guess you don't see what I see in you. I think you have potential. At your age I wouldn't have the guts to go up to a girl, and I still don't! After this you can change yourself, Kovu, nobody will remember Scar and what he has planted in you, and what he has planted in me. You might be a bag of skin right now, but soon you will be part of the pride, Kovu." Simba smiled down at Kovu, hoping this will give him hope, hope of a better life.

Kovu::
How can I have potential and all I'v learned through my life is how to cause pain in any way I can? He asked with a strickened throat. It was hard to talk kind of.

"You can change Kovu. Do you think it's easy for me to sit here and think about becoming King. I've hidden from it my whole life. Trust me though it's not going to be easy to change, facing my past...well...it's going to be hard." Simba looked toward Pride Rock. It was gloomy in the Pridelands, which seemed appropriate for what was to come.

Kovu::
Atleast you don't have killing hard wired into your head. It won't be an easy change at all.... He thought for a minute. If I don't kill, then who am I on the outside? He was so confused, usually whenever anyone saw him coming they would run. How was that gonna change?

"Maybe you should soften up. There is a time to be tough and a time to be...well...you. Just smile every now and then. Loosen up, your so tense all the time." Simba did little faces and actions with each emotion.

Kovu::
I'm not tense, I'm alert. He paused for a second. Tensing shows weakness. He was tense right now, he was vonurable talking about his feelings and what he wanted to be.

"Exactly." Simba laughed. "Show weakness, then maybe others will feel more comfortable around you. Just loosen up Kovu."

Kovu::
You mean let my guard down. He paused and said with a huff, I've got lions who Want-To-Kill-Me. He sounded out the words, smart alick.

"Then let your guard down when you feel comfortable, like right now. You know I'm not going to kill you so your not as tense, atleast not as tense as you were when we first met." Simba got caught up in that thought.

Kovu::
He glanced at Ahadi, who was suprisingly just watching with a smirk on his face. Kovu nodded slightly and looked around. He could believe he was actually this close to his main objective, to kill simba. He didn't care.

Simba noticed Kovu was a little distracted, so he got up and walked past Nala and layed in a sunny spot. He watched the other lions mostly Kovu, but felt an odd attention on him.

Sarabi walked to the edge of the Pridelands to finally see her son after all this time. You could see the difference in her mood, she just seemed to beam. She brought along Kiara, who wanted to see her mother and didnt feel comfortable staying behind in the Pridelands. They walked to the edge of the forest, Sarabi saw Kovu, Ahadi, and Nala. She scanned the opening for Simba. She saw him and it was like looking at a young Mufasa. "Simba!" The lions bounded for each other and nuzzled one another. "I missed you so much Simba."

Vitani::
She ran up out of nowhere and pinned Kovu. Baring her teeth at him. You better not tell mom about me and Kopa. Got it? She growled and Kovu kicked her off hard. Kovu growled back at her.

Simba never thought he could be s happy to see his mother."Glad to see you too Mom." Another lioness appeared and tackled Kovu! She went off on a secret. Kovu got her off and Simba rushed by his side and growled at the lioness. He was there for back up and would only interfere if Kovu really needed the help.

Kovu::
You better not tell mom on me, I mean it Vitani. You tell her and I'll tell her everything bout you. He smirked and Vitani ran off. To go hide her cub. Kovu glanced at Ahadi.
