Sydney banged her elbow on the wall between Scotty's room and hers, her little 'signal' for her brother to come here.

Scotty heard the knock, he chuckled and remembered when they where little kids. That signal they had used many times at Christmas in hopes to form a plan to catch Santa. Sydney wanted to see the toy bringer in person, while Scotty was more interested in catching a reindeer. He slipped out of his room and walked to her door quietly opening it and sticking his head in, "You knocked?"

"I saw Santa." Sydney joked with a laugh. "I just needed help with this problem." she said, given her homework a slight wave in the air.

He thought a moment then walked in "Alright, read it to me." he said stuffing his hands in his ipod.

Sydney read him the problem, figuring he coul solve it easily, before their dad called them down for dinner.
"Forget it, I'll get Joan's help." Sydney said with a smile, before wincing as her arm hit her bookbag.

Scotty knew the answer and was about to reply but they got called to dinner, he saw her wince and raised his brow "You alright?!"

Egg · **Posted:** Thu Oct 27, 2011 7:03 pm

Sydney put on a false smile and nodded.
"Never better."

The Solo Hero · **Posted:** Thu Oct 27, 2011 7:11 pm

He gave her a suspicious glare then folded his arms "You're lying." he concluded, "What's wrong with your arm, for real?"

Egg · **Posted:** Fri Oct 28, 2011 4:48 am

"Scotty, I'm fine. I just hit it on the door at school and it still..hurts." She lied cooly, standing to walk downstairs.

The Solo Hero · **Posted:** Sat Oct 29, 2011 10:24 am

"Sydney, stop lying to me..." he ordered grabbing her injured arm by mistake.
