Jack also looked away from Xander, thinking that maybe his words were indeed truth. He looked around his cell, at the grey, ugly walls. He thought about how many of the teens before them felt the biggest disgust and pain in these cells. He thought about his family, his other friends, and lowered his head. No, anyone else, but he certainly won't let them do anything to him. Him, and his friends. "Lab rats..." Jack couldn't get those words out of his mind, feeling weaker and weaker every minute. But, he was a strong boy, so he decided to hold his fear the best he could. He knew that nobody really cares about what he feels here, but he decided to be one of the very few who still have hope in them, and standing strong.
He put his hand in his jeans pocket, and somehow he found his mobile phone there. He was about to jump from happyness, then he noticed that it ran out of energy, and turned off automatically. He was about to throw the phone to a wall from rage, but held himself, and put the phone back in his pocket. Then looked at others again. Now somehow he cared about himself last, which was really rare for him. It was his new friends what matter to him. They, and their well being.

Jack looked up as Xander spoke, and a huge smile of proudness appeared on his face. "NOW you're talking, Xander! We indeed are heroes, Xander, you better believe in it. Heroes, with no weapons or special powers, but we have something much better: we have eachother, and our friends. We will make it." he was so happy to hear Xander's hopes also rising, he wouldn't care about anything else. "We will make it. And all of us around here better be sure of that."

Alfred smiled wideky, listening to Jack and Xander talk.
"That's it guys! we are gonna make it out of here, alive!" He said, then frowning at his jumpsuit again.
"Da**it..I loved that jacket..." He muttered and looked to Arthur. Arthur sat on the bed, facing the wall, he'd said nothing, basically giving up. Arthur felt his heart twinge, and he walked over to the British teen.
"Hey..Whats up?" He asked, before noticing the men walk in. One had a clipboard, the one that Arthur had beaten and he pointed into their cage at Arthur.
"That one likes to put up a fight." He said, infuriating Arthur. The brit snapped up and raced to the chain shoving his hands through the bars and grabbing the man's shirt. He yanked furiously until the man stumbled over, close enough for Arthur to grab at his neck. The man coughed then got hold of Arthur's hand, and with a wicked grin, he twisted it harshly. Arthur yelped out of suprise, and stumbled backwards, smashing into the wall. He gripped his hand, and sat there.
"See what i mean?" The man growled, moving on.

"Yeah!" Alfred barked, his voice booming. Alfred ran over to Arthur, who was clutching his hand harshly to keep himself from shaking.
"Artie?...?" Alfred asked, laying a gentle hand on his friends shoulder. Arthur looked up at him, his green eyes glowing with fury.
"Yes. I'm fine." He growled quietly, attempting to move his swollen wrist.

I listened to Xander and Jack. I listened to Xander's sarrow, to Jack's enthusiasim, to Brooke's pure terrified voice. I layed flat on the top bunk. Not looking at them, not getting involved to wheather or not I has happy or sad. My eyelashes were sticky from crying earlier, and my cheek were salty. I'd heard the scientists walking down the halls. It was kind of hard to miss with every other teen here screaming thier heads off. I went to the foot of the bed and watched them skipped my cell and went striaght to Alfred and Arthur's. Tears lined my eyes as the scientist, I knew as Carl, twisted Aurther's hand making Aurther stumbled back into a wall. A snarl ripped out of my throat, I didn't know why that had made me so upset but I caused me to hop off of my bunk and run to my gate "F*** OFF A**HOLE!!!" I screamed, a snarl on my lips. Carl looked at me and smiled "This one, however, seems to apologize to everyone" He reached a greasy hand in a grabbed my face "Observe how she doesn't even try to hurt me" He squeazed my jaw and I yelped "Yes, she'll be a fine lab rat" He growled at me. I backed up but he wouldn't let me go. I didn't want to hurt him, I didn't like hurting people at all.

Alfred perked, and ran over to the fence, trying to help Riley.
"LET HER GO YOU DUMB A** D*** WADS!" He snarled, reaching through and grabbing at Carl's hair. Arthur shivered, and stood, swiftly moving to get Alfred away before they hurt him to. Ignoring the pain, Arthur reached quietly through, and managed to yank another wad of hair from the Carl's head. Grinning, he blew it over into the man's eyes, who yelped in pain.
"THATS IT. COMMERE YOU!" He roared, taking the keys and flinging open Arthur's door. He pulled out a small box, and Arthur backed up, until Carl grabbed him. He pushed the box into Arthur's side and flipped a switch, causing Arthur's body to jolt from the tazer's electric shock. Carl took it away and pushed Arthur roughly back into the cell. He smirked as Arthur hit the ground with a thump, his body laying limp.
"Thats what your gonna get if you misbehave again.." Carl warned, kicking at Arthur's cell door.

"ARTIE?!?" Alfred squeaked, pulling the Brit into his lap and away from the entrance to the cell. Tears pricked his eyes when his friend didn't answer. Arthur stirred, but showed no signs of conciousness.

Alfred noticed Xander, and looked worriedly up at him.
"Xan! Why isn't he waking up!?!" HE whimpered, then dropping Arthur on the cold floor. "OHMYGOD HE'S DEAD!" He criedbacking away. Arthur finally woke, groaning and in enough time to hear Alfred's comment.
"Im..n-not dead...you git.." He growled, not moving, just stiffening his muscles.

"ARTHUR!" I cried reaching my arms through the chain linked fence and reaching for Carl. But my arms couldn't grab him "You monster! You sick, sick b*stard!" I screamed, Carl smiled wickedly and walked away with his scientist friends. I thought Arthur was dead. Tears fromed at the sides of my eyes. I dropped to the floor and reached through the chain linked fence for him "Arthur....Wake up....I...Please Arthur..." I felt more tears slip down my cheek. Why did I care so much?

Alfred smiled brightly, seeing his friend was alive he ran over. Alfred wrapped his arms around Arthur and pulled him in for a giant hug. Arthur let out a yelp of shock and pure pain.
"Oops, sorry..." Alfred said, setting down against the chain link seperating Riley's cell from theirs.
"D-don't do that ag-gain....I'm fine..r-really..." Arthur stuttered, taking in a shaky breath.
