Sean stared God in the eyes, his red and afraid, God's looking so trustworthy. He sighed, and let himself be healed, reluctantly.

"Thank you God," Angie said.

Sean nodded towards God, and turned facing the gates. He wanted so badly to spread his black feathered wings and fly away, but as it happened, they were no more. He looked to Angie and smiled.
"As much as i'd love to stay...it's not where i belong." He shrugged.

"Yes. But God also as another gift for you," Angie said sweetly. God nodded. A big ball of light formed in his hands and a pair of black wings came out of them. The wings floated and connected to Sean's back like an old friend. "Now you can fly away."

Sean rolled his shoulder's as his wings her retied with him. He smiled at God, and snatched Angie into a hug. "I. Love. You." He said, then kissing her fingertips again. He flew up, then dove downwards, through heaven's core and back down to earth. He flew like a black comet, swerving through the streets unseen, entering the woods and finally slowling.

Angie watched him soar back to earth, said goodbye to God, and fly after Sean.

Sean stopped by a large tree, feeling the smooth feathers. He sighed, pulling on from his right wing. He winced as it departed, and held it lightly in his hand.

Angie found Sean by a tree. She touched his arm. "Are you okay?" She asked.

Sean jerked away, and then smiled. "Oh, no, yeah, sorry." He said, smiling.
"Just thinkin'," Letting go of the feather, it floated upwards, then turned into a black bird, flying off quickly.

"Isn't that amazing," Angie said as she watched the bird fly away. "White Angel wing feathers turn into a dove." She plucked a feather from her wing. A dove formed and flew into the sun light.

"Yeah?" He said, smiling. He placed his hand on the base of her wing, unfolding it gently. He gazed at the feathers in admiration. Sean stroked the base again,knowing how good it felt.

"Their nice aren't they. I used to just pet my wings all day long," Angie said as she laughed. "So, what are you thinking about?"

"How different it feels when someone touches your wings, and when someone touches mine." He mused, stroking her wings.

"Ah," Angie said. She came close to Sean and leaned against him.

With Angie's back against his chest, Sean took her wings in his hands and trailed his thumbs over the feathers. The soft downy feathers at the bottom kept falling off, and each one he put in his pocket. He sighed contently, and kissing the edge of where her wings folded.
