Rufus pedaled faster, almost passing his house. He slowed down, and turned.
Bailey followed Rufus with her bike.

Devin turned into Rufus' driveway slowly, trying not to run over Chester's leash.
Ryan kinda backed off from the bike when Rufus turned, but then he was right with him, panting.

Devin got off of his bike and unhooked Chester's leash from the collar, picking him up.
"Good idea," Devin said to Bailey.
Ryan looked up at Rufus, wagging his tail.

Rufus unhooked Ryan and picked him up, and walked through his front door, "Dad, I'm home... and I have something to show you..."

Jeffry, Rufus' dad, looked up from the magazine he was reading.
"What is it son-..." he stopped when he saw Rufus holding Ryan. "What...is the rat doing here?" He questioned Rufus.
Ryan wiggled in Rufus' arms, wagging his tail.

Jeffery looked down, thinking about it.
"It's..a done deal? It's yours?" He sighed and looked strait up at Rufus.

"Alright, alright.." Jeffery said to his son as he watched them walk out.
"He took it better than I thought he would," Devin chuckled as he hooked Chester back on the bike, picking it up off the ground. "I thought you guys would argue about it.." He shrugged and got on. "Ah well, One down, two to go," He said, chuckling.
Ryan wagged his tail throughout the entire conversation, and before they walked out he even yipped a goodbye.
