"Yeah..." Ellis said through a cough. He laughed when Chase hugged him, but when his gaze fell on Kyler he became furious. "You-!" he yelled, trying to stand up, but then he clenched his burn and fell back down. He shut one eye, staring angrily at Kyler. "You can tell your friend, that when he wakes up, he can forget-"
"Ellis!" Carmen interrupted. "You know we need him, right?! Now relax; you're gonna go into a coma or something!"
Kyler growled at Ellis. "You stay on your side of the park!" she shouted furiously. "Can't you see there's more than one person who's hurt?!"

Ellis struggled to get out of Chase's grip. "Flirting with his girl?!" he spat. "YOU were flirting with HIM!" he continued. "He had no right to-!"
Carmen slapped a hand over Ellis' mouth. "You really should just stop talking." she sternly commanded. She looked around at the others. "We should get him back to the lake before we all do something we'll regret."

Ellis growled, not making eye contact with any of them, and he crossed his arms stubbornly. "Fine." he snarled. "But I won't be able to control Earth until this heals, so our "fearless leader" will have to learn something else first."
Kyler, still keeping Damien's head on her lap, asked, "Will you all still be at the lake?"
"What do you think, idiot?" Carmen snapped back at her, frustrated from this whole ordeal.

"Yeah, whatever." Carmen hissed. "Let's just get back to the lake, ok?"
Ellis tried to stand up, then clenched his teeth and clutched the wound in a death grip. "Let's get out of here." he said through a cough. "And Bandit, I think that's a good idea. Water is easier than Earth anyway."

Kyler, groggy and half-asleep in the corner of Damien's room, saw that her friend was finally awake. "Damien!" she cried, unable to get up right away out of sleepiness. "Damien are you feeling okay?" When she was finally on her feet, she rushed over to Damien's side and proceeded to say, "You fainted after you hit Ellis. I brought you home and told Zee you got hit in the head and asked if I could stay with you until you woke up." She was almost fully awake now, ecstatic that Damien was finally awake after a full day.
