"I'm not shy its just- Gah!" Zero yelped as he was pushed into the soapy water. He got his head back up and once again shook his head, this time to get the bubbles off his head.

The ladies around the bathtub poured some perfumy shampoo onto Zero. "I hope you like flowers," Richard said.

Zero simply grumbled. Sure he needed a bath, but its not like he was a fan of them. He would have asked why Richard wasn't in with him, but he knew already the dog was plenty clean. Even after the small walk outside this mansion in the airport wouldn't dirty him up.

"Oh come one, it's not that bad, besides, you might not get another decent bath for a few months if you're really going to Afghan land," Richard said, watching Zero continue to get scrubbed.

Zero kept his eyes shut as his grimy fur was roughly scrubbed. The water was a dark color due to all the dirt being scrubbed out, and they had only cleaned the surface.

"Get ready to be rinsed again," said Richard about two seconds before zero was again sprayed with water, "Man you weren't kidding when you said you haven't had a bath in forerever."

Zero blew water out of his nose. "Pardon me that street dogs get so dirty so fast." He grumbled.

"You're pardoned," said Richard, "Trust me, you'll feel better when it's all over."

Doubt it. How rough they gotta be to get deep is slightly annoying. Zero thought as he felt hands pushed under his rough and slightly tangled coat.

"Hey Zero, have you ever used silky coat shampoo? It'll make you feel like a million bucks." said Richard very amused watching the ladies scrub Zero to death.

"No." Zero said flatly. Trying not to be pushed into the water because of the scrubbing, the black dog was pushing back up.

"Well, all I can say is, try not to get any in your mouth," Richard said, as a bottle of the shampoo got dumped onto Zero.

Zero was about to retort but then shut his mouth and eyes firmly as the shampoo was poured on.

"Don't worry, the shampoo goes deep in your fur so you won't have to worry about tough scrubbing," said Richard.

"Lovely." Was the growled reply, Zero barely moving his lips to avoid the stuff getting into his mouth.
