"We act as if nothing is going on," Sadie said firmly. "We're going to play with the pups, and have a normal day."

"Okay then." Rio said.

Ooc: Don't do too much playing. It gets boring after a while.

Ooc:// I was getting bored of it too, but I have no idea what else to do. We could skip to when they are waking up the pups to leave...maybe Ryan could see them, he just doesn't let them notice him? And then he tells Ai?

Ooc: Sure, we can do that. Skip.

The next morning..
"Hey, time to leave." Rio nudged Sadie.

Sadie was already awake, and sat up softly. She nudged the pups with her nose. "Wake up," she said, her voice loud enough to be heard by her pups, but not loud enough to wake up the wolves sleeping nearby.

Kyle and Michelle woke up, their eyes droopy.
"Why are we waking up so early?" Kyle asked.
"We need to escape." Rio said to him.

Sadie glared at him. "Rio means that we're going on a trip," she clarified. She hoped in their sleepy state they wouldn't notice her glare.
"How about at noon?" Juno asked sleepily. He sat up anyways, yawning.
Laika, however, was soon awake. She grinned at the thought of the surprise her parents had planned.

Rio gave a sorry look to her.
"Why this early?" Michelle asked

"We'll explain later. We're going on a walk first," Sadie explained, her voice happy and excited, but somehow quiet at the same time.

Rio led them on.

"Is this the surprise, Momma?" Laika asked.
Sadie nodded.
"I didn't know about no surprise," Juno complained ungrammatically.

"Me neither!" Kyle complained.
"What?" Michelle whined.
Rio looked at them. "We will tell you later. Now Follow us!" He said.

Sadie continued to lead the way to the river. It was fast-flowing, and from what she could tell, exceedingly cold. "Who wants to go swimming?" she asked, trying to make the activity sound fun, though she dreaded it.
"I guess," Laika said uncertainly.
Juno immediatly jumped in the water. He gasped for breath as he surfaced. "Cold!" he sputtered, treading water.
"You lay the false trail," Sadie murmured softly in Rio's ears.
