Hunter felt a sinking feeling as they fell down the waterfall. He braced himself for what was to come, but all he felt was the impact. He wasn't dead like he should've been. He suddenly was floating in the water. Just then, the metal seemed to ge weak. Hunter swam out and almost made a b-line for the shores.

Takari prepared herslef to make flames, but the water seemed to quench them. Not to mention the fact that she was unable to concentrate, due to the roaring tumults of water, and spray that constantly hit her, soaking her over and over again. She was relieved when she was encased with metal, along with the rest, even though she wondered how long it would hold together, or if it would hold at all. She let loose a terrified howl as it dropped over the edge. The ball rolled, and she was jostled along with the others, until she had no idea what was up or down. She heard a splash, and was amazing to find herself alive, and relatively unharmed.

All she had was a sprained ankle, nothing compared to dying. As the metal weakened, she followed Hunter, kicking out towards the shore. She clambered onto the land with relief, he legs shaking, heart thudding. She closed her eyes and collapsed.

Zenon ran over to see Takari on the floor. Oh no! is she dead!? "Can you hear me? its Zenon" she shook Takari. "Hello? Oh please wake up."

Hunter was finally on land too. As he turned to see if the others made it too, all he saw was Takari and Zenon. He growled. "Leave her alone!" he lunged at her and tried to scare her away. "You've done enough!" Suddenly rage and anger coursed through his veins. The sky turned the color of charcoal. Lightning began striking everywhere, very close to the spot where he and his friends were. "All you've done is caused us pain so far! You haven't helped us one bit! Just leave us be already! Stop trying to help us!" he screamed between growls. He knew he was going overboard with his anger, but he couldn't help how he felt.

Takari stirred slightly at Zenon's touch and words, and cracked open an eye as she heard thunder rumbling overhead. She forced herself to rise. She had only collapsed out of exhaustion and the lingering fear, nothing serious, but certainly enough to cause immense fatigue. "It's all right, Hunter," she muttered softly, sagging slightly as she sat.

Hunter's growling didn't cease, but it lessened a bit. "No it's not..." his words suddenly became softer. Then he turned to Zenon. "This female has pushed us around for no good reason. She has to leave before more innocent wolves get hurt or harmed...." he began to growl louder.

Kami washed ashore utterly spent until his body touched a small chunk of gold he loved that quality if he ever touched gold silver or platinum or better absorbed it his power would be unmatched at this time he jumped up and shook himself before walking quickly over to the others and quickly explaining the reason he fell into the river, he told them to leave.

Hunter stopped growling as he suddenly got extremely weak. The lightning immediately stopped and he collapsed to the ground. He was still very conscious, but the gold that Kami absorbed made him feel very weak.

"You okay Hunter?" Takari asked, her voice edged with concern.

Hunter almost gasped for breath. His body was drained now. G-g-g" he never got to finish the word. He passed out.

Ranger growled loudly and aggressively when he jumped onto land. He looked at Kami and said aggressively "Get away from my brother. You are killing my brother and I WILL kill you before you kill him. So, back off wolf before I make you. You absorbed gold and my brother's weakness is gold. You will kill him and I must protect him at all costs." He growled defensively at Kami and prepared to pounce on him.

Kamis lips raised in a half growl " don't threaten me I can infuse it into him before you could kill me I wouldnt want to though Ive killed enough of our kind" he made the chunk of gold appear behind him and kicked it into the river he'd already gotten all the power he needed from it " now you guys had better leave before they get here" he said motioning with his nose upstream where he fell in.

Hunter just lied there. He would wake up sooner or later. The thunder clouds reappeared though, as a sign he was alright now.

Ranger looked at Kami deadly and said extremely aggressively "So, you doubt MY power. How dare you?!!!!!!!!! I would kill you before you would have a chance to even blink. Trust me. I am the deadliest CL Wolf you will ever see.......ANYONE will ever see. Don't press your luck, wolf. I had a pack that I founded before that was just full of CL Wolves and they made me angry everyday until I killed them all. They were very easy. I am experienced in killing our kind and you wouldn't improve my collection. I would improve anyone's collection greatly but you are worthless as a trophy because you are weak." He looked at Hunter and asked brotherly "Are you alright, Hunter? Did he hurt you? Should I kill him for you?"

Even though the question wasn't directed at her, Takari winced to think of Kami lying limp on the ground, blood soaked into his fur and Ranger's muzzle. All an act of anger.

"Don't kill him," She said weakly. She was gradually recovering from the brief moment of unconsiousness, but it would be another few minutes before she felt like her old self. It was amazing what fear and a long fall would take out of someone.
