;A; I hope I'm not too late...
Name: Malachite
Name given by Owners: Feliks (a common Polish name and part of the Lithuanian name ‘Feliksas’; pronounced like ‘Felix’)Gender: Male
Parents: Kit and Jade
Siblings: Added after the contest
Personality: Malachite is mentally insane and unstable. He can be extremely violent, especially when sad, angry, or forced to be. He’ll protect those who he sees as important or his friends, and he’ll stand up for those weaker than him. He always wears a gentle smile on his face, and Malachite seems like a nice guy and very innocent. He usually resorts to violence of some type (from coming off as intimidating to killing those in his path) when threatened (or when his family or friends are threatened). Malachite is actually very childish, and he will protect things he thinks as ‘his’ (ranging from his favorite items to his friends and family). Malachite just wants to be friends with everyone, and he wishes to get along with everyone. But his insane personality gets in the way, which is why he has few friends. Those lucky few who are his friends have a great friend in him; Malachite is an extremely loyal, caring, and sweet friend. He’ll do almost anything for a friend, and he loves to play. Malachite loves puppies, and even though he is young, he loves to take care of them and show them neat tricks. On some days, Malachite will become extremely violent and will snap at anyone who gets too close to him. Malachite is extremely sweet to his family and friends, but he’s extremely cold to strangers. He also wants to learn new languages, and he knows a couple as of now.
Likes: being with his owners, taking trips to new countries, the sun, warmth, wind, flowers, Jet being happy, Clover being happy, pups, and how blue his mother’s coat is
Dislikes: Girls (somewhat), death, Clover feeling left out, Jason, Jet being made fun of because of her size, and the cold
Fears: Being abandoned, being sold again, and losing everything he hasHistory: Malachite was born to Kit and Jade, and he caused them a lot of trouble. He was usually the one not following rules he didn’t like, or he ventured out in the city. By the time it came for adoption, he was adopted by an American woman. She named Malachite ‘Sam’, and he very much liked his name. He was treated kindly by her, and he grew to respect her. She however, had to sell Malachite as she fell into poverty and could barely take care of him. The woman, still trying to live, got a boat and sailed across the Bering Strait. Once across (and now in Russia), they were met by two soldiers, and the woman was asked for a passport. The woman looked for it, but she couldn’t find it. She was claimed as a ‘spy’, and she was shot on spot. Malachite stood there, surprised on how they could easily just take a life. His ‘stick’ broke, and he lost some of his sanity. Sam, becoming angry, attacked the two men, and he killed them both. A young scout came up behind Malachite, and he captured the now struggling dog. The young boy took Malachite to his commander, and the commander deemed Malachite useless and to be sold off. Sam was sold to a Spanish man, and he was used to be a fighting dog. He was renamed ‘Killer’, and this is when his mentality became more cracked. He was about a year old, and he had to fight many dogs. Malachite slowly went into madness, and he fought every battle mercilessly. He never showed weakness, and Malachite became a very good fighting dog. Though he was beaten a few times, he was always able to get out alive. The fighting group though, was found out and they were arrested. The dogs all were taken to be given out at adoption, many of the violent dogs were euthanized. Malachite was deemed just as a dog that was afraid because of the horrid fighting, but they did not know his true nature. He turned from sweet and innocent to a merciless and cracked dog. Malachite was put up for adoption and was given to a Lithuanian man who was on vacation. After a few weeks of getting to know each other, Malachite and the man, who was named Julius, grew to like each other. They grew to be great partners, and Malachite would always follow Julius wherever he went. Malachite never liked to be away from Julius, but he coped with it. Julius, finally remembering that Malachite didn’t have a name yet, decided to name Malachite, ‘Feliks’. Malachite enjoyed his new name, and he was very close to Julius. Julius eventually bought a cage, and Malachite took it horrible. He lost most of his trust in Julius, but he still went inside the cage. After two days, Julius went to the airport and brought Malachite with him. Malachite, fearing that he was being sold off, abandoned, or sold to a new owner, tried to escape, but Julius reassured Feliks that he would come back for Malachite later. Malachite, now reassured that he would not be abandoned, kept calm and obeyed his master. After a couple of days of being in the airplane, Malachite reunited with Julius, and he was very happy. Feliks looked around him and saw people and places he had never seen before, and everything written seemed to look weird. Even his owner spoke in a language he had never heard before, but Malachite was determined to learn it. On the way to Julius’ house, Julius was recognized by almost everyone, and Feliks was almost always petted by these strangers. Malachite usually tried to ward the strangers off by staring at them or showing his teeth, but Julius corrected him every time Malachite did. Julius and Malachite eventually got home, and Feliks made himself comfortable. A few minutes later, Julius seemed to be writing a note to someone, and Malachite went to go check it out. He saw another language he had never seen before, and he nuzzled Julius. Julius patted Malachite, and he started to read his letter in English. Malachite then started to learn what most of it meant, and he figured out to where it was going. After writing the note, Julius went to the mailbox and put the note there, and he went inside of his house and started to show Feliks his new home. Feliks was interested in the house, and he was very happy in his new home. Julius went to bed that day with Malachite’s warm and furry body lying next to him. Malachite awoke and went to eat some of his food, and after that, Julius came down and got some coffee. Julius had an idea right there; he turned around to Malachite and showed him the cup. He spoke in a language Feliks had never heard, and then he said the word ‘cup’ in English. Malachite soon caught on, and he began to learn Lithuanian. Malachite was able to go out and inside the house as he pleased, and Feliks usually went out to talk to some dogs. He eventually found out that he wasn’t in America anymore, but he was in a place called ‘Lithuania’. It hit Feliks, this is where Julius lived, and now Feliks was actually home. Feliks started to make some friends, but most dogs were afraid of him. He didn’t understand, but with the friends that he did have, he always checked on them. If anyone was bothering them, Feliks went to deal with it, and they never bothered his friends again. Feliks became very well known, and he began to learn some of the languages they used in Lithuania. One day, some random stranger, who was a woman, came inside of the house and greeted Julius like she was his wife or something. Feliks charged up to the woman and growled at her, but Julius reassured Feliks that she was no stranger. The woman, wary at first, slowly reached out a hand to pet Malachite, and Malachite, assured that this woman was no foe, let her pet him. The woman became over-joyed and gave Malachite a big hug, and she introduced herself to Feliks. Her name was ‘Sara’, and Malachite was happy to meet her. After a few days, he figured out that the two were a married couple, and Feliks accepted Sara as his owner. He enjoyed being around her, but sometimes she would speak a language that Feliks didn’t know. She often had to tell Malachite what she meant to say, and he started to learn Polish from Sara. That was the start of Malachite’s love for languages. A few months later, Malachite’s family went back to Alaska so Malachite could visit his family. Malachite found everything different from what he knew. He didn’t enjoy the cold, and he often stayed inside houses. Malachite went to visit his family, and he mostly spent his time with his siblings and Clover. After a few weeks of being there, they went back to the airport and went back home. Malachite enjoyed being back where he was home and warm. Julius, Sara, and Feliks would always go out to vacation every year to different places, but they almost always went to visit Malachite’s family. After the USSR and Poland signed the non-aggression pact between each other, Julius and Sara decide to stop vacationing for awhile, and they moved to Poland so they would be not so wary of their neighboring country (Russia).
How he feels about his parents:
Kit: He loves his mother very much, and he wishes he could spend more time with her. He finds her very special and extremely beautiful. Loves how she loves pups just like him, and he finds it very odd how she could get along with everyone while Malachite can’t. He often goes to Kit for comfort when he’s down, and sometimes to get some advice. Malachite hates it when Kit will often tell him what to do.
Jade: Malachite feels that Jade is almost like him, and he can relate to Jade’s problems well. He doesn’t understand why Jade doesn’t like the wind, and he doesn’t understand why his father likes to be around women a lot. Malachite feels very close to Jade, and he usually watches what his father is doing when he goes out.
How he feels about Clover: Malachite loves Clover, and he loves to play with her. He usually tries to get her to play and be with the family, and he hates seeing her unhappy. Malachite loves the ideas she comes up with, and he usually takes those ideas and lets them branch off his imagination. Malachite is extremely happy that she can stand up for herself.
How he feels about Blossom: Malachite loves how sweet Blossom is, and he loves to be around her and play with her. He doesn’t understand how she could make a lot of friends, but he doesn’t feel sorry about how she was born. Malachite can easily tell when she’s lying to him, and he’ll usually make her tell him the truth. Malachite loves how Blossom loves the sun.
How he feels about Valencia: Malachite hates how she’s a rebel, and he doesn’t bother to even try to tell her what to do. He wants to help her with her fear of men, but the lack of Malachite having friends stops him. He always wants to cheer Valencia up when she gets depressed, but he can’t find anything to say to cheer her up. Malachite fears being closer with Valencia because of her hard personality, and he is afraid he might hurt her (both emotionally and physically).
How he feels about Jason: Malachite hates him for all the pain and suffering he put on Clover, and he wishes that he could rip Jason into shreds. He wishes to never see Jason, or if he did, he would murder the dog, not caring if he was asking for mercy or not. Malachite sees Jason as a burden and an enemy.Other: Malachite can speak Polish and Lithuanian, though English was his first language. Malachite usually bothered his father about wanting to learn Russian, but after he moves, he learns a little bit of Russian. Things I added to the bio are
in bold like so. And I hope I got everything correctly done and any historical parts correct.
