Sam sat there staring at him. No one can be that good at playing the guitar. She couldn't take her eyes off him. She felt like she was staring at a god. She risked a glance round the room, and judging by the stares from everyone except susie, including Miss Grithoff who was dishing out plenty, every one else thought so too.

"What?" aid Dante obvviously non-plussed "it wasnt that good people"

" Dante..." Whispered Sam, staring at him as he looked down. "It really was that good."

Miss Grithoff suddenly woke up. " yes Dante, that was very good. Now if you would sit down, i would like to carry on with the lesson. Sam next time you want to hum, do it in the play ground, not the classroom, even if it is Music, ok?" She went to the black board and a little shake-up, began to write.

Dante shrugged and started to copy down that days lesson, Humming uner his breath slightly.

The lesson went on, again sam started to make up lyrics for Dantes song. At the end of lesson, the bell went. Sam didn't notice though. She was absorbed in a day dream about singing with dante playing the guitar with her...

Dante poked her "Sam, Wake up" he teased gently. grinning slightly.,

Sam jumped at the touch, as if an electric shock had gone up her. Which is exactly what had happened. "wha.." she looked up at Dante. "what happened?"

"The bell went for break" smiled Dante "Where are we hangin?" he asked her.as if only er idea mattered.

" erm. we came in at break, remember? And its split lunch so we have half an hour of Maths, then another half hour afterwards." Sam smilied up at him" come on, or we'll be late again!" Sam grabbed his wrist adn led the way down the hall way again.

Dante shrugged and skidded to a hlat "No way hose" he said "Im not sitting in a class with a load of thickos who cant get their head round basic calculus"

Because of her hiolding Dantes wrist she felt herself being pulled backwards too.Her hand slid down his arm as she retracted and sher found herself holding his hand. She tried to let go but he was surprisingly strong as when her hand had entered his at the same moment he had balled his hand up into a fist. "ouch. and what the hell are you talkiomg about? You have too go, its schools rules.and any hoo,if you don't attended 3 classes, you get expelled." her hand felt like she had sown a live wier into her hand, it felt really nice though.

"They cant expell me, Ive only been here a day" daid Dante "Besides, i did A level maths when I was FIVE. This is only just GCSE"

Dante still hadn't let go of her hand. "they can expell me though and i haven't done any A level. though i do know a hell of alot more than most of my class. I'm in top set yet i still do better than any one else." said Sam.

Dante sigehd "Fine I'll come, But im not listening to some idiot droan on about soemthing I already know" he said "Especialy fi they use bannannasin algebra, i hate that"

" you don't have to. you can concentrate on your music instead, but do the work any way will you?2 She began leading him down the corridor by the hand this time. They got to the corner and went out a door. She began to run. It was still raining. In about a second, she was on the other side of the space, without even losing her breath. "whoops! i shouldn't have done that. o well" She led the way to the door near by. "er, Dante?"
