'I know you will honey..." Annabeth started softly. "I guess I'm just not used to the idea of you being away from home yet... You'll be an amazing demigod." She smiled gently at her son.

"Thanks Mom." John said grinning. (Writers Block.)

"You're welcome, sweetie." Keep him safe, she told Corinthia.
I'll try my best. Corinthia assured her close friend. She added to herself: unfortunately, I can only help so much before Father would intervene.

ooc//: don't worry about it =)

John knew something was wrong, but he didn't say. This was his first time of being on his own, but, Apparently these kids were like him.

Don't worry, you'll find at least a few close friends here. Corinthia told John through thought.

John snorted Yeah, Sure I will.

When he was your age, your father had no true friends until he came here. He and your mom met at this very camp. Corinthia told him. You'll be surprised by the friendships and experiences you encounter here.

He scanned through the kids in the Dining Hall, his eyes rested on a table of gruff looking kids, who were burping and telling jokes and all kinds of other stuff. Better stay away from them. John thought. Then he spotted a bunch of smart looking kids, with grey eyes, like him and his Mom. That's Athena, John remembered, but wait, wouldn't they be like his, aunts and uncles? His glanced at this other table, kids that seemed normal enough but looked like if you turned around, they'd pick your pocket.

Very good John, you seem to have a natural talent for knowing who the parent of a demigod is. Corinthia was extremely impressed. That's unusual. I wonder what would have given him that talent... She thought to herself.

Thanks. John nodded, I dunno what, or who did that. Mom just told me a lot about the gods and stuff.

Okay... John replied, yawning.

Corinthia laughed. Annabeth looked over, just realizing that Corinthia and John had been having an entire conversation. "You seem tired, sweetie," she cooed to John. "You should get some rest soon. You've had a long day." You weren't talking about anything I should be aware of were you? Annabeth asked Corinthia. Nope. We were just discussing which groups of demigods he should try to stay away from, aka Ares kids.

"Okay mom." John said and sleepily and started walking over to Posieden's Canbin when someone sneered, "Where ya goin' punk?" John stoped and turned around to see three Ares kids, big, burly, and ugly all over.
"I asked 'where ya going punk'?" he growled, apprently not liking to be telling something twice.

Corinthia started walking towards John and the Ares kids with an angry look on her face. She stopped in between John and the Ares kids. "I am NOT in the mood to defend the newest kid from you again. So I suggest you scatter now before I get REALLY mad since this new kid is Poseidon and Athena's grandson," she warned the Ares kids while glaring down at them.
