"I...I guess..." Ranger answered, sounding unsure. "Like I said. I have no idea where this place is except that it's to our south."
Charles stepped forward.
"Well, I know it might sound like an iffy plan, but what if we ask the local wolf packs and see if they know how to get there. According to what you guys said Ira said, word has gotten all over about this because of wolf packs. Maybe be they know."
Ranger nodded.
"Good plan, Charles, but there's just one thing wrong. None of us know any wolves to talk to, and if we find one, they probably won't be willing to help. They don't have a good liking for dogs, you know."

"Well? Why are you so nervous? You told us about this dog, so now go find him! I don't want to die!."
Ranger stepped closer to Kali.
"Well...you said you know this dog, right. Why do you seem so nervous all the sudden?"

Kali releculantly began to walk in the direction of the forest.
Tally followed, curious about what she was obviously hiding.

"Good," Tally muttered.
Kali heard the mutter, but chose to ignore it, instead padding deeper into the lush forest they had reached. SHe suddenly stopped and sniffed the air.

Ranger sniffed the air, also. He smelled a lot of unfamiliar things, but one caught his attention right away. Looking back at Kali, he made a slightly worried face.
"You better know what you're doing, Kali. This is bothering me. Something doesn't feel quite right."
