Rowan swollowed hard and nodded "Yes, I did...lay doown." He nudged her gently before heading off then returning with some plants and other things. Instantly he began to put herbs into the wound "Eat these...and these." He intructed, handing her some bright flowers.

Nika pulled the dead carcass back on her back and of Talon's "I'm a big girl Talon...I can take care of myself." She trotted a little bit faster.

Talon nodded, a shot of emotional hurt falshed through his eyes but then was gone. He walked beside Nika, not sure of what to do anymore.

Nisha nodded, and licked up the flowers, wincing slightly as Rowan treated her wound. The silence felt kind of akward to her, and the thoughts of humans flashed through her mind. "...Rowan? Are all humans bad?" She never really thought of this before, and after so many bad encounters she just had to wounder about it.

Rowan let his mind wander back quickly to his days as a K-9, his master's face flashed before him. "No, some love us as their own, but others are heartless.." He smiled weakly.

Nika sighed a little "Talon you know I don't like being pampered." She explained, her tail twitching with discomfort.

Nisha nodded "oh.." she didnt want to bring up anymore of Rowan's past, she didnt want to make him hurt more. She changed the subject quickly, "So how long do you think it will be until i can use my leg again....or not at all?..."

Talon nodded "I know...Its just that..." he stumbled over his words, growling angrely at himself for doing something Nika didnt like, and the deep emotional pain that he let his mentor get hurt, he reared up onto his hind legs and sank his claws into a nearby tree. The silver fur on his shoulders and spine standing on end

He pushed the thought of his old master at the back of his head "About a week or two at the tops." Her laid down next to her, placing his head on his paws. "Rowan! Come here boy!" The voice came from the smoke "I'm coming Mike, I'm coming!" The German Shepherd pushed his way through the warehouse, the pack of Dobermans and their masters on he and Mike's trail. Guns went off, pain stung him, and Mike's screams of terror for help filled the air. The German Shepherd shook awake from his day dream. "Two weeks." He finished.

Nisha nodded, noticing the shake that Rowan did, she relized he was getting rid of old memories, she used to do that a lot. She moved so her side was pressed again his and she gently licked his ear. She rested her head on her paws and did her best to drift off to sleep. She knew that sometimes in times like these, saying nothing could be the best thing said.

Talon looked at Nika "...sorry....i didnt mean to just flip like that..."

Rowan smiled and rested his head over hers and closed his eyes, a nap sounded nice.


Nika walked over to him and licked the fur that was still sticking up in anger to where it was down again. "Its okay Talon...Really, it is." She tried her best to sound convincing as she continued her walk. When she got into camp she saw Rowan and Nisha taking a nap together, she smiled. As she passed them she tickled Rowan's ears slightly with her tail to wake him up so he could eat. "What? Oh food!" She laughed as he slowly and quietly got up from his nap, careful not to wake up Nisha even though he figured teh scent of the meat would.

Talon nodded, he didnt want to seem like a complete idot. He trotted at her heels and sat down next to her.

Nisha's nose twitched very slightly as the scent of meat filled it. She lifted her head and yawned, she hopped up onto her three good legs and looked at the meal. Her stomach didnt feel hungry, but her mind told her to eat. She couldnt help but look at Rowan, smiling slightly she went over to Nika and Talon "Were you two ok last night? You guys never showed back up after we lost those hunters."

Roki finally pullled himself off the ground. He shook some loose dirt out of his black-and-white fur. He felt tired, and wished he could sleep more, but forced his stiff legs to move, and walked aorund the small camp, stretching the muscles.

Nika smiled at Nisha "Oh, we just decided to sleep closer to the edge of the forest ot make sure hunters did try to raid us." She lied, but her voice didn't show it. She looked over at Rowan who was already chewing a back leg 'The back legs are always the best' Rowan use to tell her when she was just a pup. She smiled fondly at the memory of he and her running through the streets and jumping from car to car in the city. She felt a tear well up in her eyes but she just looked down at her paws. Oh how childhood was so peaceful...I wish I had it back. She thought before she finnaly swallowed her tears and looked back up with a smile plastered on her face.

Nisha gave Nika a look but chuckled lightly and then shook her head, she limped over to the meal and layed down, chewing on the stomach of the elk.

Talon waited until his old mentor had turned away, and then lowered his head to look at Nika at eye level. "...Nika...." he didnt want to see her cry. He looked at her and then at Nisha and Skull and all the orginal Leathal Pack members. "...Im sure...they could look after the pack for a day...if you wanted one last run through the city." He whispered in her ear. Another song ran through his head and he shook his head back and forth, trying to clear the lyrics from his brain.
