Well, I really want this day to be over so I can get home and see my little sister. I don't know how well she's dealing with the move. We haven't really talked about it.

BIddy was about to write her reply when the bell rang. She shoved the piece of paper into one of her notebooks and picked up the res tof her books as she got up out of her desk. "I hope I can," Biddy said quietly to Zane so no one else would notice. She thought he'd prefer it that way.

Biddy walked out the door just as Zane walked away. She looked from Asher to Zane and back again, eyeing Asher's glare. She cleared her throat to drew his attention away from Zane. "Ready to go?" she asked in the brightest tone she could muster, hoping to lighten the mood.
