Sadie warily followed, unwilling to put him in danger. He seemed to have no idea that they could kill, and had done so before.

"Who are you taking me too?" she dared ask, her voice soft and tentative.

Riley looked towards Victor and decided Nika was right. They didn't have to apologize, it wasn't their fault. But when he heard his name being called, he turned his head back. "Who asks?" he called back.

Aaron ran towards the wolf that answered him. "Riley! It's really you!"

Riley turned his body away from this strange wolf, wondering who he was. "How do you know me? I've never seen you before in my life!"

Aaron's face looked dissapointed. "You mean, you don't remember me? Brother?"

"Brother? What are you talking about? I have no family!" Riley said, growing angry by this wolf's words. He believed them to be false. He began to run away from the wolf, heading in the direction of Nika's den unknowingly. When he was halfway there, he bumped into Darkwolf and a female. "Darkwolf? Who's this female?" he asked.

Aaron ran after his brother, stumped on why Riley wouldn't remember him. "Did you humans brainwash him?" he asked himself. He finally caught up with Riley, seeing two other canines. "Riley?" he asked.

Riley turned back. "What do you want? I'm not your brother! Leave me alone!" he cried out angrily. He hated to bring up his own past, and with this wolf claiming to be his brother, it was only making him angrier. It was bringing up the memories he had worked so hard to get rid of.

Sadie backed away from the two arguing canines that had appeared, tension clear in her small frame. Now there were three wolves that she would possibly kill, like wha had happened to.....

She didn't finish the thoughtg, unable to dreg up the old memories, instead trying to shake them off.

"Who are you?" she asked, blinking.

Aaron looked quickly to the female. "I'm Aaron, and this is my brother Riley," he said, gesturing to Riley.

Riley growled, "I AM NOT YOUR BROTHER!" he shouted.

Aaron shook his head. "What can I do to prove it to you?" he asked, almost giving up now.

Riley looked at the ground. "Describe my past to me! The day I was taken away, the day our parents died!" he said, knowing if this wolf was speaking the truth, it would bring up painful memories.

Aaron nodded. "It was a calm, beautiful day. We were playing together by Mother's side, Father was away hunting. When he came back, we began to eat happily. Soon, the hunters came. They shot at Mother and Father and sent both of us scattering. The human's picked you up and took a close look at you. They thought you were a dog, so they put you in a truck and went off. I had been hiding behind a tree, and lunged at them, but it was no use. They pushed me back and took you away," Aaron said, looking down at the ground, remembering the painful times of the past.

Riley stood, mouth open. He was shocked that this wolf had remembered every detail of their past. He tried hard to remember too, ignring the pain the memories brought. He suddenly remembered that he did in fact have a brother. He remembered that his brother's name was Aaron. He looked up at the wolf. "I have one final question. What's your name?"

Aaron looked up at Riley. "Aaron."

Riley's expression turned happy, and he ran to his brother's side, hugging him. "I can't believe you're alive! I can't believe it!"

Aaron sighed with relief. "We have finally found each other, and nothing can seperate us again," Aaron said.

Riley then turned to the female. "So why are you guys running? Is there an emergency or something?" he asked.

"In a way, a bunch of hunters were chasing me. I just managed to lose them, but I left a trail by mistake, they'll find me again. You guys should leave, I don't want to get you killed too," she said, almost pleading with the male. Maybe he would listen better than Dark haad.

Riley shook his head. "I understand what you're saying, I really do. And I want to listen to you, but I just can't. If hunters are headed this way, I want to give 'em all I got! I want to tear them apart and leave them for dead!" he said truthfully.

Aaron nodded. "I'd listen as well, but if my brother is in, so am I," he said. He turned to Riley. "I undestand why you feel that way. You want revenge, don't you?"

Riley nodded.

"Then I'm with you 100%!"

"But you don't understand, have you seen what they can do? I've already led someone else to their death, and I don't want it to happen again!" she said, her normally soft voice crying out loudly. She blinked, not meaning to have said that. She backed away, her heart pounding. "I just can't go through it again," she said, half whispering, her almond eyes fearful.

Riley looked at Sadie with a serious expression. "I know how strong they are. I know what they can do. I know that they are monsters. And I also know that I must get revenge. I must kill them because they caused my parents' deaths!" His face then turned calm. "If someone else got killed it's not because of you. You didn't kill them, did you? You weren't the one who shot the bullet, were you? It's the same here. If I get killed, it's not your fault. It's theirs. And if it's not theirs, it's my own." He spoke bravely.

Nika trotted out of her den, her tail low and her ears to the side.She grabbed a rabbit from the prey pile and knawed on iy's leg, everything was oddly silent.Her ears twitched at the sound of crunching leaves.She jumped up and snarled, insantly seeing two men with large guns directed towards her.Nika jumped up and darted towards the nearest one, her sharp canines bared as she lunged at his neck.She grabbed his neck and shook it back and forth as the other man shot at her, attempting to get her off but pain wasn't enough.She knew if these hunters were to escape she would die and they would definatly find her friends.Soon the man in her grasp had gone limp and he other was shaking as she stood up from, the body and snarled at him.Soon another man came from the bushes and another, she snarled at both of them, her eyes wild even though her body was drenched in blood.

Sadie ran after them, her heart leaping to her throat as she saw a female canine covered in blood, hunters in front of her. I hope that's not her blood,she thought ferevntly, leaping into battle. She ducked as she heard a crack echo through the normally still forest air, the bullet only grazing her right ear. She continued running towards him as he tried to cock the heavy gun, knocking it out of his hands. The man went wide eyed and struggled to back away. SHe sunk her teeth into his leg and he cried out. Her teeth hit bone and she let go, clawing at him stomach and chest furiously.

He fell over, moans of pain escaping his lips. He was half-consious. Sadie ended his pain by biting his neck, the soft flesh instantly pierced by her razor fangs. HIs moans stopped and she stepped back, the other hunter already dead. BUt there was more crashes coming from the forest off to her right. She turned to face them, her bloodied muzzle raised in a snarl. THey immediatly took aims at then, and she lunged at one. He adjusted his aim and shot her throughthe shoulder. She collapsed in mid-jump, the bullet stuck inside her flesh, blood pouring down her brown and black leg.

Nika watched as the havoc happened around her, and with six bullets in her body she leaped up and jumped on the last man and bit his neck roughly, but his gun was still in hand.She looked into his eyes, full of fear, as they closed slowly.She jumped off, he wasn't dead but he would be soon.Her tail was low as she went to turn around "Th-They are gone." She sighed as a bullet hit her side once more.She jumped around, the man had a faint smirk on his face as she drpped to the ground in a pool of her own blood.The man also dropped his eyes in surrender to death.Nika looked up at her friends and frowned weakly "Wh-Wh-Where is Kodan?" She whispered.
