Archibauld followed close behind on Nightmare, telling him to gallop faster. The horse answered with a longer stride, catching up to Ryan. Archibauld lashed out and smacked Crusade with his crop repeatedly, making the brown and orange horse buck.

Ryan was almost flung off. In fact, he was stuck dangling from the side of Crusade, luckily by his good arm, struggling not to be thrown off. He pulled uselessly, struggling to get back on his horse, or atleast stop him, but the brown and orange horse kept plowing forward, the whites of his eyes showing.

Archibauld saw how Ryan was hanging onto the frightened horse, then started whacking HIM with the crop.

Ooc:// A crop is like a short whip we horseback riders use to keep control over our horse. It hurts when you're hit with it :pale:

Rayna finally noticed that Ryan was barely hanging on, so she tried to slow down her horse, but Rose was too frightened of that crop and the army of horses behind.

Ryan felt his grip slip, the crop gouging him. His grip slipped and he fell to the ground, crumpled and dazed. He had fallen on his bad arm, and stars danced in his vision, all the breath knocked out of him, Crusade rearing woldly.

"Aha!" laughed Archibauld. "Troops! Arrest him and bring him back to his majesty to prepare him for his punishment! The princess is too far away, just leave her."

Windancer · **Posted:** Mon Dec 21, 2009 4:40 pm

Ryan couldn't move, he was stunned from the fall. He lay on the ground, wishing that he was somewhere else.

WolfPaws · **Posted:** Mon Dec 21, 2009 4:42 pm

The soldiers grabbed him and wrangled Crusade, throwing a rope around his neck and pulling him to the ground. They mounted Ryan on Crusade, but kept the rope on the horse so he couldn't get away. It's not like he could run from a dozen troops on horseback. "Scum." Archie breathed.

Ooc:// Well this should be interesting....o.o

Ryan wheezed as he regained his breath, pulling against his bonds uselessly, wanting to kick Crusade, to make him run. Not like that would be much use.

Rayna thought Ryan was right behind her the entire time. Once she stopped hearing hoofbeats behind her, she stopped Rose and laughed, "Good job, Ryan! You didn't fall off!" But once she turned around, her smile dropped. "Ryan?" she called. Oh no oh no oh no... she repeated in her mind as she turned Rose around and galloped off to find him.

Archibauld led Crusade through the woods, back to King Bob's castle. "You criminals make me sick!" he spat. "Kidnapping the princess? Very original!" Archie knew he didn't, but all his troops were around. What else was he supposed to say?

Windancer · **Posted:** Wed Dec 23, 2009 3:08 pm

Wait, kidnapping Rayna? Ryan thought in disbeleif."What are you talking about?" he asked, confused.

WolfPaws · **Posted:** Wed Dec 23, 2009 3:10 pm

"You know what I'm talking about!" Archie snapped. "Now shut yourself up until we get to the castle."

Windancer · **Posted:** Wed Dec 23, 2009 3:37 pm

Ryan bit the inside of his cheek, staring at him, his hazel eyes appaled and disgusted that even he would stopp so low.

As they reached the yard of the Royal family, Archie saw the King standing outside, awaiting the capture of the man who 'kidnapped' his daughter. "We found the crook!" Archie stated proudly, jolting the rope holding Crusade. "Sadly," he continued. "Rayna is still missing. If you don't mind, your majesty, I would like to make you a deal."

Windancer · **Posted:** Wed Dec 23, 2009 3:45 pm

King Bob stared hatefulkly at Ryan. "I will do whatever I can to find my daughter," he said.

WolfPaws · **Posted:** Wed Dec 23, 2009 4:05 pm

"Now, your highness," Archie began to say. "If I find your daughter, you will allow me to marry her." he said with an evil grin.
