Katie laughed softly, looking about until she found her mate. "Kodi come over here...I'll need you." she said in a sft loving tone.
Tai nodded crazily, her big puppy ears flapping up and down.
Kai titled his head cutely, blinking quickly. "Gramma?" he muffled through his Grandpa's tail.

Kodi blinked, walking over to her. He touched noses with her. "Yes, Katie?"
Cachen nodded. "Let get Kai!"
"Yes? My adorable grandson?" asked Jenna, smiling.

Katie giggled, rubbing her nose against his. "The pups want to hear the story about your Father, mind helping me a little?"
"Why you stare?" Kai asked, giving a big smile.
Balto laughed softly, trying to get Kai to stand up so he wouldn't get too cold in the snow.

Kodi smiled. "Sure, I'd love to."
"Because, you're so cute!" said Jenna, smiling to her little grandson.
Cachen dashed over to Kai. "Kai, momma gonna tell story!"

Katie stared into his eyes for a long while. She almost seemed to melt into the brown eyes. "Every time I look at you...You make me love you over and over again." she said, nuzzling through his two-toned fur.
Balto laughed, having no trouble getting his grandson up to hear a story.
Kai smiled happily, shaking the balls of snow from his fur. He tackeld his younger brother, before licking his cheek.

Kodi nodded, smiling and looking into her eyes. "Same here, you're the most beutiful girl I've ever seen."
Cachen licked him to. "Come! Momma tell story!"
Tina stopped nearby, watching them.

Katie giggled, looking up at him with a smile. "Oh, Kodi..."
Kai laughed and jumped off his brother, starting to run.
Balto's ear flicked at slight noise. Turnign to the reason, he smiled lsightly when he saw Tina. "Are you...okay? you looked shaky when you ran off."

Cachen ran over. "I got Kai! We have story now?"
Tina walked over. "Yeah...about that...it's kinda hard to explain." she said. "But Jenna, please take your bandana off and lay it here, I've got to show you something."
Jenna looked suprised, her bandana was a present from Rosie, but she was intrested to learn more, so she did as asked.
Tina took her bandana off and laid it next to hers, they were identical, except for age, it even had Steele's teeth marks.

Katie nodded with a smile. She looked at her mate with a smirk. "Kodi, would you like to start us off?" She asked with a broad smile on her silvery muzzle.
Tai and Kai rushed over, laying by their parents as they waited to hear the story.
Balto's eyes grew wide and suspicious. He inspected both bandanas and then looked at Tina. "Start explaining." He said with stern sincerity and trust in her words

Kodi nodded. "Ok...where should I start?"
Jenna looked them over, suprised. "...They're...identical."
Tina nodded. "This may sound hard to believe, but...I got that bandana from one of your descendents...over 80 years from now."

Tai huffed cutely, looking up at her Father with a cocked eyebrow. "Da beginning, Poppa!" she said, looking quizzically at him. "You not know dat?"
Katie giggled, shrugging as she looked at her mate bashfully. "I've heard the beginning is a good place to start."
Balto's eyes widened,. He looked form one bandana to the other, and then at Tina. He huffed out a short chuckle. "th-that's not possible...you'd have be 100 years old or...or..." he looked at her, unbelieving. "Or you're from 80 years from now..."

Kodi chuckled. "Ok, back then Grandpa was an outcast, no one liked him but grandma Jenna and her little girl named Rosie."
Tina nodded. "To be exact, I'm from the summer in New York City in the year 2010." she said.

Katie nodded, smiling as the pups listened. "But, all the children became very sick, even Rosie. They sent a sled team out, but they got lost bringing the medicine back. So your Grandpa, even though no one wanted him to, went out to bring back the team and the medicine."
"From...when?" Balto said, unbelieving. 2010 didn't even seem an option, peopel were still talkign aobut how futuristic the 1980's would be!

"Even though the lead dog was cruel, mean dog named Steele." said Kodi. "Who'd bullied grandpa most of his life." he said. "But on the way, Balto ran into a huge grizzly bear!" he said, acting like a bear, causing Cachen and Lena to giggle.
"2010." said Tina. "I don't know how I got back here, I right in front of the statue of you in Central Park when it happened...has that been built yet?"

Katie laughed softly at her mate, before continuing with the story. "When the big bear was about to win, your Grandma came and bit him right on the nose!" she said, nippingh er pups each on the nose playfully. She leaned up, nipping Kodi's nose as well. "But, Grandma got hurt when it flung her away."
Balto tilted his head. "Last time I went there, it was brand new." he said, looking slightly more than confused."Should still be new, they only unveiled it about tow years ago."
