Salome followed at a farther distance down and chuckled.`They lack skill` She said to herself, the unity of the pack never actually worked for her. Years of being a lone wolfess made her an exceptional huntress and defender of her own. They looked thin, so she'd figure to spare them the fatigue."Hey Guys get over here!.. now" She yelled to them, demanding them, with a sharp bark, her tail wagging furiously before she jumped into the lake and slowly lead a sow (Female Elk) away from the lake, obviously in the panic, she had run into the lack which was freezing now and her muscles had been nearly locked.

Salome slowly threaded the frigid waters at a slow pace as the sow slowly moved up to the bank, she looked to Rita with a firm nod."Catch her now.. I'm not doing this favor for you again" Her voice was stern, her eyes penetrating Rita's gaze, as she seemed to scolded the young female with in the pack. Once reaching the bank the female elk bleated slowly and trotted slowly away, but she was too slow for the wolves as she watched the rest of the members chase her down and bring her down. She smirked slowly before licking her lips and shaking off her pelt, the frigidly forming icicles flying of her frame.

"That's more like it.." She said as she watched the pack members eat hungrily off the now dead sow. A proud smile lit her lips as she sat down nearby, grooming her pelt but watching them closely.

Cole ran over to the unconscious Husky and nudged him.

Because Felix was the lowest ranking member of the pack he had to wait until everyone eals was done eating before he could have what was left. While he waited for his turn he padded up to Salome and sat next to her"So where are you from?" He asked casualy.

Steele woke up and said "What happened?"

Steele found Midnight and said "Why did you stop her?" He looked at her and tried to smile.

"I know that, but I meant why did you, I mean you didn't have to, I messed up so I should of died." Steele said.

"I don't want to die, but I did wrong and I thought that if you did wrong in a wolf pack you died." Steele said taking a bite into the elk.

Jay shooke his head as he saw the lone wolf take down the elk. He knew Rita must be upset, but he also knew that they had to eat something. He walked to the spot where everyone was digging into the elk. He turned to Rita. "Hey, don't worry, okay? I can promise you, that the next hunt, you'll get a shot twice as big, and you'll get all the glory." he said, trying to encourage her to eat the elk. And although he still wasn't very hungry, he took a few bites of the elk. After all, you never know when their next meal would be.

Jay smiled, almost embarrased, but he liked the feeling. He finally finished his share of elk, and walked just to the side of it. He shook his fur, and sat down quietly, waiting for the rest of them to finish. He turned to Rita, and smiled some more. He couldn't ignore this feeling he had. He didn't know what it meant, but it made him feel good inside.
