Russet growled softly. "This is that thing that was really bad, so I didn't tell you. Julius was trying to get you away from me.... I think."

"I think it was because of what happened before." he said, gravely as he remembered that day.

"Why can't that day come to me?" Hunter muttered to himself, looking at the Alpha's daughter.

"Well, I guess we should get OUT of the territory. It's not ours... so." As Russet turned to look at Husster, he noticed the younger wolf smiling as she stared at him. His lip curled in disapproval and disgust and he turned to eye the Alpha male. "Sorry to bother you."

Husster laughed. "No, it's fine. We were just leaving. Take your bite if you wish or look for the herd. Your presence is welcome here."

Russet nodded and watched as the pack left, the female still eyeing him.

"Come on, let's leave. I think it's about to rain." he said quickly, looking up at the sky as a drop fell and hit his muzzle.

Russet's limp was a bit worse, for his side had stiffened and was making it harder for him to move.

Russet muttered to himself, frustrated and disgusted by the female.

Russe smiled and licked her nose appreciatingly. "Thanks..." he whispered. He tried not to lean himself completely to her side, for he was far much bigger and heavier than her.

Russet cursed under his breath. Rain was fine and dandy when you're showing your love for someone, but when you're moving as slow as an injured puppy, it's really upsetting.

As Delilah and Russet went inside, and shook themselves off, there was Julius as always.

Russet snarled. "You lying little weasel! You didn't care about me, you just wanted me to get away from Delilah. After all the time I spent to try and gain your trust you try to pull this off..." He tried to calm down, but he couldn't.
