Dev mockingly mimiced her then grinned to show her that he was just kidding. "Well I didn't know if you wanted to hang at my house or if you're house was cool..." Dev said casually and shrugged, glancing over his shoulder every now and then.

Dev pounded his fist on the dashboard gently and mouthed the word 'dang'. "Yeah I guess you're right though..." he muttered in fake dissapointment. "My house is big and empty anyway! No fun there!" he said convincingly and grinned.

"Sounds great!" Dev said and pu his hands behind his head as he leaned back in the car, he didn't reopen them until they had pulled into Shay's driveway.

"Of course!" Dev said and grinned as he hopped out of the car and walked over to Shay's side. He opened the door for her and helped her out like a gentleman. "After you!" he said and grinned putting a hand on the small of her back.

Dev grinned and followed closely behind her. "Hope you're dad doesn't mind!" he whispered and jogged so that he was walking right next to her.

Dev chuckled. "True!" he said and plopped down on the bed next to her. "I meant besides the fact that he loves me!" Dev said and grinned, falling back on the bed.

Dev smiled warmly but it seemed to vanish slowly as Shay put her arms around his neck. He suddenly put on an intense expression as he stared into her eyes. He wound an arm around her shoulders and pulled her closer to him, as he stretched his neck down to kiss her lips he paused for a moment. He tried not to read her thoughts but he couldn't help it. He whinced slightly but then suddenly pressed his lips to hers.
