Xinal felt as though Hayumi was disturbed. When he glanced at her he noticed the body gesture was seemingly that of disomfort or something of the like. He immediately dropped the illusion muttering and something under his breath. It was an apology but he wasn't sure why he said so. In any case it was barely audible. His ears flat to his head and his eyes strayed around the area.

Hayumi saw Xinal's face as he walked off, she cocked her head in confusion."Where is he off to?" She muttered as she raced after him, she streyched her wings out as she silently perched on a large branch, her wings folding in again as she watched him walk off.She wanted to cry out 'I'm sorry the reason your upset, or leaving...' But she held her breath until she could feel her head becom lighter.She let it out and it made a loud sound, she squinted her eyes, knowng that he had heard her.

Xinal turned to look back at the voice that called his name. He was surprised at what he heard. "Wh-what? What are you saying sorry for?" He turned around to face Hayumi a smile on his maw, "There's nothing for you to be sorry about." Rippling waves of gray fur moved from his head to tail as Xinal shook his pelt. "I thought I was the one who needed to apologize. But whatever we're just chasing our own tails." He laughed heartily. He swayed his head from side to side smiling. "I just realized I ramble on a lot."

He looked back at the den where the leaders were gathered. "I wonder how much longer." His voice showed his concern for the meeting. The day was growing late and a lot of the wolves are getting restless. His eyes however... had a different gleam in them. He briskly shook his head.

Hayumi giggled as she landed gracfully onto the ground "Oh your right." she smiled, her eyes gleamed brightly as her heart fluttered wildly.She tried to speak but ouldn't, the words weren't coming out, she was scared that her voice would crack.She then took a deep breath and looked up at him "Its okay, I ramble alot to, i remember one time-" She blushed "See." Her tail was wrapped around her hind leg as she stepped slightly closer to him.

Xinal laughed at the her rambling. "How do I know you're not faking it." It may have sounded serious but the grin on his face said otherwise. His tail wagged and he didn't even notice that she was quite close to him already. "It's that unknown thing about life. Always so spontaneous and you don't know where the next step will be." The gray wolf had looked away to the clouds when he said this. When he looked back a tiny source of light flickered right next to him. It fluttered past his field of vision and he immediately bit down on it.

His usual carelessness gave way to a miscalcuation of distance. His tongue touched the spark that he hasn't extinguished yet making him yelp in pain. "Ah!" He fell on his haunches. "I 'etter no' do 'hat agai'." He muttered with his tongue lolling out, numb from the shock it received.

Hayumi laughed slightly and bent down and licks the top of his ear "Nice goin'." She giggled as she nudged him back up.Her tail swayed side to side quickley 'Why can't I just tell him?' She thought to herself.She looked down and sighed to herself, she looked up into his eyes and almost felt the words acting like vomit, dying to come up, but she wouldn't dare.

Xinal glanced into her eyes unwittingly. It felt like something was about to be said, but words never came out. He shook his head, those appear only in elder's tales. Not like he could ever read minds. He glanced away back at the den. His desire for the feeling of belonging was still bearing down in his heart. He wants to be in a pack that would fully accept him. For a while after the war last season it felt like that. However now there was this strife happening between the two again and he was getting worried that he belonged nowhere.

"I wish I were a pup again..." the words spilled out of mouth suddenly.

Hayumi looked into his worried eyes and smiled "There is something troubling you." She whispered faintly, her eyes were clouded with concern as she stepped even closer.She could feel his breath on her nose, her tail was low, would he push her way again?Or would he accept her where she was and maybe step closer.

Daiku nodded, "yea... let's get this over with." he started walking out to the pack an whispered, "they should know of our troubles about deciding bloodline unions, we'll have males and females all over us so look out. some males may try and force you to be thier mte, you never know. are you sure this is what you want to do?"

Xinal never turned his gaze away from the sky above him, "I just... miss those days I needn't worry about mousedung like this." A swishing sound reached his ears. His ears swiveled to the direction of the noise and saw a paw come out of the den where the leaders were having a meeting.

Freya turned to look at Daiku, "You kidding me? That's nothing compared to the war we had all those years ago!" A humurous sparkle in her eyes. With a flick of her ear she lead the way out of the den. As she approached the center of the clearing she could visibly see and feel all the eyes of the wolves around glaring at her. She turned to look back at Daiku, to see if he was on the way, before howling, "We have an announcement to make!"

Hayumi sighed heavily "I wish I knew what that felt like." She murmered to herself as Freya walked out from the den."C'mon, lets go!" She smiled, hoping it would go to Xinal's face also.She turned and ran into the clearing where she had set before.

"What? Where to?!" Xinal asked in confusion. "Oh," He shook his head clearing it off all the confusing thoughts pouring through him. He slowly walks after Hayumi and sits beside her. The rest of the Ground Wolves were gathering into a loose circular formation around the alpha that had emerged.

Daiku followed her closely and looked around, twitching his ear to her loud howl. "We have came to a conclusion as to what we will do. We will both rule together until one of us finds a mate. when we do, that pair will take over as the alpha's, so it's kinda a race to whoever gets a mate first gets to be Alpha.
He hated putting it like that, but at least they'd get the picture.

Hayumi wanted to protest, this idea was outragous.What if the winner turns out to be bad at ruling a pack this large, then what?She looked around helplessly, there was nothing she could do.She layed back down and said nothing, her tail wrapped around herself.

Freya surveyed the scene to notice the reactions of the wolves gathered around her. As she had expected there were wolves that were unsettled by the idea, shaking their fur uncomfortably and looking at one another. She also noticed however that some wolves started to look at each other with exchanges that could only lead to either: lust for power or desire for a mate. She flicked her ears uncomfortably at the thought of how many suitors would come after her. Some were of the male alphas were looking at her with interested while some females were possibly eying Daiku.

"We will consolidate and combine both camps to facilitate this new agreement and ease of control." She howled to everyone in the clearing. "In order to unify the packs and ensure peace, we need to be close to one another-Consider ourselves as ONE pack! We will set up our new camp here..." She glanced at Daiku hoping she wasn't saying something she decided which Daiku wouldn't agree to. "Unless... The Alpha wolf disagrees?"

Along with the other wolves Xinal froze and stared across the clearing. The expression in his body broadcasted the same shock he felt as the others did. His eyes however told a different story, similar to the reactions of a particular sets of wolves. Those same wolves who all have their eyes aimed at Freya.
