Katie turned her gaze away from James and back to Dev as Alex walked over to James.

"Ay! James!" Dev called over to his brother "cool it!" he said, narrowing his eyes at James. He knew James would probably flip but he seemed really on edge right now and Dev didn't know why. "Something wrong?" Dev called again and cocked an eyebrow, folding his arms across his chest coolly. "Don't worry about him.." Dev whispered to Katie.

"You don't have to worry about that," Katie said, also folding her arms and giving James a challenging look. "I won't."

"I think you're in trouble," Katie said to Dev with a bit of her lip. "Good luck calming him down."

"Thanks!" Dev stammered as he began walking slowly toward his brother. Then he looked over his shoulder at Katie "if I don't come back...nice meeting you!" Dev said jokingly and grinned. He entered Jame's cabin and folded his arms, leaning against the doorframe. "You wished to see me?" he asked.

"Umm...talking, being polite, trying to show her that she's safe here and we're NOT gonna kill her!" Dev said, narrowing his eyes at James. "James whats going on? You're NEVER like this! did something happen! I know your not telling me something..." Dev put on a hurt expression and studied his boots, hoping that this would work on James, and make him spill.

"Okay!" Dev cheered up instantly and plopped down on the bed next to James, all his pretend hurt and sadness gone as he stared intently at his brother, ready to hear anything he had to say.

Devs jaw dropped open as soon as James said 'feelings for her' but he quickly snapped it back up when James looked at him with that expression. Dev scooted closer and said "i'm sorry for...yeah you know...I didn't know you felt that way about her..." Dev said, feeling like a jerk. "I don't know what to tell you brother, maybe be nice to her! that'd be a start...and call her by her name!" Dev suggested, hoping to lift Jame's spirits. "But this might be a problem because....nevermind..." Dev quickly said, not wanting to confess to his brother.

Dev smiled "its nothing James! your problem is ten times bigger than mine right now! Lets go!" he said and stood up, motioning for James to follow him. "We're...I mean you are gonna go talk to Katie! You're gonna be nice to her and call her by her REAL name! aight?" Dev said and began walking out of the cabin, motioning for James to follow.
