Poison ate the berries as she looked up at him again "Why do you acre about me?" She asked, no one has ever liked her enough to help her live.Her purpose in life was to killed.

"I care because...well I've been taught that all life is precsious." said Blitz. "Even though I have to kill to get food, I still honor what I killed." he said. "And I'd never let another wolf, even if I don't know them very well, die for no reason." he said. "You don't deserve to die, you've got a good heart...and I care about everyone for a simple reason as well, nothing loved dies because you always keep it in your heart."

Poison smiled sweetly as she nuzzled him "I-I, you are a angel..and I'm a devil..and you still care." She said, confused.She placed her paw upon his and blushed as she quikly took it away, her paw was freezing.

Blitz check her stomach. "The bleeding stopped, that's good, but you're wound has made you lose a lot of body heat." he said. "We need to warm you up." he said. He got some more herbs and mixed them togather in a bowl he'd stolen awhile ago, the mixing made it heat up on its own, but it was unimaginably bitter and terrible smelling. He put it in front of her. "This will warm you up, you can thank mom for me knowing so much about herbs." he said, smiling to Angel. "Just remember, no matter what others think of you, you're always worth caring for." he said. "Any life is worth it...even Grendel's." he said. "If I fight him, I won't kill him, I'll beat him and banish him, mark him so no wolf will trust him again...but I'll keep him alive."

"Hang on a minute, Luke," Maia whispered. "I'll be right back, okay? Make sure Josh is okay." She knew if she gave her brotehr somethign to do, he woulldn't have to see the blood-stained ground. She moved to Blitz and Poison, knowing she was one of the best healers around. "I agree with that," she told Blitz. Finalyl someone who views killing like I do other than my brother, she thought. "Now, Poison, doesn anythign still hurt badly?"

Copper padded to Luke, guessing that Josh wouldn't keep him occupied for long. "Hey, kid. You okay?"

Josh's paws twitched lightly as he began to come around slowly.

"I...I don't like blood." said Luke. "Well I can handle a deer or something like that but...I can't stand seeing wolf blood."

"I'm glad you agree." said Blitz. "Having a good heart is always a good thing." he said. "Not killing other wolves is a good thing."

Maia nodded. "Luke and I made a movement agaisnt it once. However, our father made us go inside." She rolled her eyes. "Our pack fought a bit but not much and it wasn't really full out war either. Attacks here and there." She examined Poison as she spoke. "But Luke and I always tried to get the pack to reason with the enemy. Never really worked."

Copper nodded. "I hear ya. I've seen enough to last my whole life." And I've vowed to pill more, he thought guiltly. Maybe he should take a leaf out of Blitz's book and let Reggie walk. Do something else to get even. "Hey, Josh is coming round." It was true. The dog's eyes opened and he jumped slightly at teh sight of Luke then calmed when he realized Luke was another pup.

Luke looked at the other pup. "Hi, I'm Luke, Maia's baby brother."

"Killing his wrong." said Blitz. "Its senseless and only breeds revenge and more killing...mercy breeds mercy."

Josh looked up slowly. "I'm Josh, a Husky mixed wiht German Shepherd from a near by town."

Maia nodded. "My father said mercy is weakness but I don't believe it." She looked back at Josh. "Copper, tell me if he needs anything." teh larger wolf nodded and she turned back to Poison."Poison, you should be fine if you take it easy. No hunting or fighting, I'm serious." She looked up at Blitz again. "I never believed my father when it came to fighting. If it wasn't for my mother, our pack would ahve been starting wars."

Poison shrugged "I don't feel pain anymore, well not alot at least." She said, her sharp and edgy neon green eye, and her feirce ice blue eye locked on Blitz's eyes, blocking out the noise, just focusing on him "I was bred to kill...thats what I'm here for..to kill.My master sent me to snatch a wolf, I had no choice..but I won't do it.I killed him hopfully." She told them, she felt guilty.

"You don't have to be a killer anymore." said Blitz, seriously. "Even if you were raised to kill, you can change with enough kindness." he looked to Maia. "Mercy is certainly not a weakness, if you show mercy, one day they might be your best friend."

"You're cool looking." said Luke. "I'm a wolf mixed with a Golden Reriever, that's were my ears come from." he said, one of his ears flopping over his eyes.

Blitz nodded to Maia. "That's right, don't you forget that ether." he said. "One day I'll probably fight Grendel, if we cross paths, but I'll give him mercy, because to a sadist like him, that would be worse than killing him." he said. "And because I'm better than he is." he said, not being vain, he meant because he refused to kill the one that had killed his family, he was a better wolf than the murderious Grendel.

Luke chuckled. "Thanks, though they get thrown over my eyes a lot." he said. "But they make me diffrent."
