Wolfbane's expression suddenly turned into one of sadness and worry. "Our clans have plunged into a massive war," he replied omenously. "Freefall is fighting Whiplash, and the rest of the clans are trying to keep everyone else protected. My father, Thunderstorm, assigned me to stop this fighting. It's just not right!"

Whirlwind nodded, agreeing with the other oen of his kind named Wolfbane. "We're not ment to be having war! We should all be peacful." He said. He was more of a 'peace is always the way to go' kind of dragon. His eyes were locked on the dragon in front of him. "Where are you goign right now?" He asked, his arms close by his side.

"SunFire!" FreeFall shouted worriedly. He tried to run, he wanted to stop them from getting to the bottom, but his injuries ached so much, and he was losing blood fast, he couldn`t run. "SunFire! get outta there! there`s a cliff and you guys are heading straight for it!" Shouted FreeFall.

Wolfbane looked on ahead with serious eyes. "I have to find my father," he replied. "I must report back to him. Freefall is in trouble!" And with that, he pushed on ahead, seeing his own home below him before continuing on above the thick trees of the border before reaching a waterfall with his father within sight. "Father!" he called out, swooping down to meet him.

Thunderstorm was gazing at his reflection before he looked up to see his son returning. If he were to return so soon, he thought with a heavy sigh and a shake of the head. ...Oh no. this cannot be good news at all.

Whirlwind but his ahnd out as Wolfbane left. He sighed, and started to follow the toehr dragon ata slow pace. But then he decided nto to, and he swept and took a turn, going over a tree. He wanted to be there to see if he could see anything suspicous or any of that.

Sunfire heard Freefall call but didn't try to stop. Nightfang spotted the cliff edge just as they were about to fall over it, and tried to stop, but Sunfire hurled herself and Nightfang over the edge. Nightfang roared in surprise and released his grip on Sunfire's leg, this was the chance she had been waiting for, and she released her grip on him and jumped into the air, kicking Nightfang down. With a few beats of her wings she managed to reach a ledge halfway up the cliff, and pulled herself onto it, panting with exhaustion. She turned round and watched the grey figure of Nightfang tumble to the ground, and then her legs gave way and she fell to her stomach.
Snowspirit saw Wolfbane fly off and decided to follow him. She ran through the forest, weaving between trees until she reached the clearing where Thunderstorm and Wolfbane sat. The sunlight was pouring down right onto Wolfbane. I never realised Snowspirit thought, looking at Wolfbane through the bushes, and a sudden feeling of shyness came over her, and she was too nervous to go and talk to him.

Wolfbane landed beside his father and caught his breath before looknig him in the eye. "Freefall is in trouble," he reported. "We have to help him, but there's nothing we can do! Father, we have to-" He then cut himself off as he got the feeling that he was being watched. He whipped his head around and thought he could see a shadow in the far off bushes...

FreeFall gathered up the strength to run over to the cliff. He saw SunFire, exhausted, laying on a ledge. He sighed with relief, he lowered his paw down to her. "SunFire, grab my paw, I`ll pull you up." He said, just stretching his paw down a little further.

Sunfire glanced up. 'No Freefall, you'll fall, let me catch my breath a second and then I can climb up myself' she said, her breathing slowing rapidly to normal and her strength was coming back to her.
Snowspirit realised he had seen her and scrambled backwards quickly, but tripped on a branch and fell on her back, making a lot of snapping and rustling noises. Oww, shoot he's going to see me she thought, trying to pick herself up again.

Thunderstorm followed Wolfbane's gaze to find nothing out of the ordinary. "What is it son?" he had to ask. "Not more enemies, I hope."

Wolfbane just shook his head. "I'll go and check it out," he replied. "It's doesn't look dangerous." He then took off once again before Thunderstorm could say another word. He flew over where he saw the shadow and landed to see a very familiar face. "Snowspirit?" he said, looking surprised. "What are you doing here? I thought you were back with the others."

Snowspirit bowed her head uneasily. 'Um, yeh, but well someone kidnapped me, and then I tried to call to you when I nearly flew to you but I fell and then followed you and well...hi' she said, telling herself off for not saying anything good, and blushing inwardly. 'Um, how is everything going with the other clans?' she said, looking at her paws.

Wolfbane just smiled and laughed, shaking his head. "Just perfect, I guess," he replied, looking up at Snowspirit's blushing face. "Although, there are still a bit of conflicts to resolve, but right now, Freefall's in big trouble. We've just got to help him... You think you can help us? Do you know anything about the enemy? Because that would be very useful at the moment..."

Snowspirit perked up, 'of course i'll help, just point me in the right direction and tell me what to do' she said, looking Wolfbane in the eyes for just a second before looking back down at her paws. 'I don't know much about who kidnapped me, I didn't really see him before he knocked me out, but it was definately a he' she said.

Forgetting that WhipLash was still there, FreeFall sighed partly from relief and partly from exhaustion, the pain in his back and neck was terrible, he withdrew his paw and rested as well as SunFire, it then started to snow. "Winter is on the way." He muttered, the ground made a crumbling sound beneath him, he was right on the edge, and he was too heavy for it to support him. He fell onto the ledge that SunFire was on, he accidentally touched noses with her when he tried to get up, he turned red in the cheeks slightly, and then a pile of snow fell on him, the only body parts that were left uncovered were the nose and eyes, and his tail, and a bit of his front paws were showing too. FreeFall shivered, the snow was getting underneath his scales.
