He smiled, but it was one of those, anery/happy smiles. "Ooohh, it hurtss!." She laughed. He smiled and they walked on the side of the road until the sun set, Miami said goodbye and walked into her house and curled up on her bed, and whent to sleep. Jasken, being so scared about her, slept on the side of her house.

He had a dream, well not aa dream but aa nightmare and woke up.He went to check on Maimi. "How ya doing?" He asked nuzzling her. "I'm fine Jask." she said sleepishly, followed by a yawn."But I-" Jasken started."JASKEN! It's okay, I'm fine.

"Okay, I know, sorry, but you so close and... I-". He studderd as he looked over his sholder. "I can't bare to lose a loved one again.". His ears went back and a tear fell down his face. "Its okay, I'll be fine, you'll see." She said and licked his teary face. "I'll see ya later, howl if you need me." He said. She nodded and whnt back to sleep.

He went outside. But he could'nt stop thinking about her, and he stayed up all night. As soon as the sun started to come up, he rushed back to Mami.

"Are they here?" He asked. "Noooooo." She yawned. "They'll be here when they get here." She yawned again. She felt a strong jolt of pain in he stomach. SHe yiped and cied. "Are they coming?" He asked. "Ahhaaah, ye-ye-yes!". She cried.

Jasken Fell back on the ground. "RRAAWWHHHOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" He howled. Her Owner rushed in. She Sat down beside Maimi. Jasken Pointed as he watched near by. She grabbed him and slid him out the door, so Maimi would have less stress, or so she tought. Suddenly, the thought of the factor of death came up. I wish I could see Jasken just one last time, before it ends like this! She thought. Meanwhile Jasken scratched wildly at the door. He Barked and yipped and howled and every thing else dogs can do. Suddelny Echo and Carmen came around the corner. "Jasken! What's goinng on?" Carmen asked worried. "Maimi's having pups!" They could hear her yipps from the house.Suddenly they stopped. "OH NO! IT'S HAPPENED AGAIN!" Jasken cried. The door opened slightly and her rushed in. Maimi was liking the ppups beside her.

Jasken felt the worry leave him. He was so happy, then he fainted. "Jasken?" A tired voice said. He opened his eye's and saw his tiny puppies. He saw Carmen crying. "W-Whats wrong?" Me asked. "Nothing, im just so happy to finaly be a grandmother." She cried. Jasken then realized Miami's owner was still there.

She reached for the pups. Jasken, having the insticnt to protect the pups, snapped. She patted him on the head."It's oaky, I wont hurt them." She said, i just want to look at them, and name them. Okay, so thiers six, four girls and two boys....hmm....These two girls can be tundra and Jade, this boy here can be Jan."

She picked up another female pup. "You can Nikki!" She smiled. She took the last two. "The little boy can be Daxter, and the girl can be.. Silver!" She smiled and put the put down to nurce.

Miami licked the pups beside her.Carmen and Echo knew they weren't needed anymore and left. "well I guess the Owner of this dog right her might want a pup, I'd better Call him." Miami's owner said leaning in to see the number on Jasken's collar. His owner diddn't pay much attintion to him and Jasken normaly would call himself a "stray". She dialed the number. After A few minutes she got off. "He dosn't want a pup, he just wants to split the money of the pups with me." She sighed petting Miami.

Jasken growled to himself. "Hmm, how many should I keep?" She said. "All of them." Miami said, altho she new her owner couldn't understand her. She looked back at his collor and called again. "Yes, its me again, I need you to come over here." She said. They waied and at last he was there. "What do you want me to with them Lola?" he asked. "You should keep one." Lola answered. "Look, I can hardy take care of Jasken, how am I gonna take care of a pup?" He asked. "Do you have a job?" Lola asked. He nodded. "What is it?". "I work at the post office." He answered. She took him to a room and they talked. They came out not long after. "So, wich one do you want? You have a choise of Daxter, Jade, Nikki and Tunder." Lola said. "I dunno, wich one are you keeping?". "Nikki." Lola answered.

"I'll Take this one here, Jade, I guess....."He grumbled."She's yours, and traditinaly, the one with the female dog would get the money and the owner of the male would get one pup or the money of one pup, but we can split the money so you can afford food and things for your dogs." Lola said. "Well thank you mam." He smiled.

All the other pups were sold to very kind people in town, Lola and Jasken's owner split the money. "Mabey you should come over somtime." Lola smiled. "Mabey." He replyd. "Wait, whats your name?" She asked.

"Hahahahahah My names is Officer Jack, but of course you can call me Jack." He smiled.

"OH, well, Jack, I'll see you later." Lola smiled and walked back inside. "Did you hear that girl? You'll get to see al least two of your puppies every day!" Lola cheered. Miami smiled and licked her pups. She closed her eye's and fell asleep.
